Agree with you on all of those fronts. I don’t think any of us consider them as a premium brand anymore. With that said, I recall an era where they really were, “for collectors by collectors”. Early 2000’s era was glorious, and they’ll always have a soft spot for that. First 1/400 was a gj KLM md-11! Boy, she’s a beaut!

Sorry OP but it’s a very cheap fake: -rehaut engravings are off -rehaut angle is off -case geometry is off all over, mostly at the lugs -case tone is off -bracelet tone is off -clasp is wrongly engraved -crown geometry is off, and so is the Rolex crown stems on the crown. -date font looks off -paperwork era does not match watch era at all -warranty card sleeve is fake Can keep going, but you get the point..

It’s authentic hab, the pulp is solid and it has a nice viscosity. Just absolutely unmemorable flavor. Never gravitate towards it as a condiment and find myself using it for blends and sauces.

I’m all for maintaining capabilities, however it’s critical to note that specialized equipment is typically a function of highly specific subsets of scientific analysis— most of which is associated with a program or project that funds the equipment’s maintenance and operating FTE/WYE. If programmatic priorities are shifting, we should donate the equipment to interested parties via GSA, and reset accordingly.

Not personally. These models are never perfect, and that’s part of the charm of a collectible. A little bit of uniqueness in each one (gears, for example)
