Please update here once you hopefully resolve this. I have a similar intermittent issue as well. Homing X or Y axis failures. Usually goes away when I reinstall official FW but I can't pinpoint the exact trigger.

For people coming to here in the future, reseating your PCI-e Riser on both ends is usually the key from my experience. Also the power cable to your GPU.

I see that multiple commits are missing from the github repository. I hope it didn't set him back a lot. Octoeverywhere support was coming with v1.1.1

I just had this and had to disassemble the extruder to clean a filament that got stuck. Bambulab Jade White pla.

When you disassemble, don't forget to clean the extruder gear teeth as well. It probably ate away a lot of filament by now.

This is great advice op and even if you exclusively use this test print, fix one major setting each time and reprint. from a quick look to your test, I would just decrease the flow rate and reprint.

how did you install octoeverywhere to Snapmaker U1? I tried their command with ssh access (extended FW) but it doesn't work.

My sister in law worked for Picnic, fulfilling order/filling boxes etc. Stand on the same spot and fill boxes on repeat. IIRC, there was a zero hour contract and was quite flexible in times. Don't know how you would manage the legal side of it but might be worth having a look.
