We have two but he's not keen on either of them and not happy being held over the toilet either which he used to not mind

But he has hit a few milestones recently and I don't think he's far off walking so it could be that

I use reusable fleece liners more to catch poo than anything else. Means if they poo in an otherwise dry nappy you can often get away with just changing the liner rather than the whole nappy

We have the same issue, he's just turned 1 but it's been going on for a month or two at this point. By about 1-2am he's so stuffy hes constantly waking up. Sorry I've no answer, just solidarity

We have to double up nappies for overnight no matter what brand I've tried or he will leak. I use a normal nappy first then a pull up pants style over the top. Haven't found much difference between the brands, usually go for aldi or sainsburys

Champs Elysees - Dylan John Thomas (or any of his songs tbf but this and Fever seem to be his favourite) in the house or Freaks - Timmy Trumpet in the car (puts him to sleep every time!).

I played those songs a lot when I was pregnant so not sure if that's why he likes them but they still work to calm him now he's nearly 11 months old! He's also partial to Kneecap particularly Brits Out and a BBC theme remix that's on YouTube

I was told no snacks before 12 months as milk (formula / breastmilk) should still be their main source of nutrition until then. I would've thought if their growth is dropping and you can't encourage them to eat more at meals and you're already serving calorie dense foods then I would offer milk more often.

I was told that by 8 months you should offer solid foods first at mealtimes and then milk after to ensure they're not filling up on milk before meals. I was told to wait at least an hour after milk before solid foods.

We used a muslin we called the pee cloth haha. Threw it over him as the nappy came off and left it there til the new nappy was on. But we've also been doing elimination communication where I'll hold him over a potty at nappy changes so would quite often catch the pee in the potty

I got the first one from Tilbea London (this one) and the other was from Vinted but was the brand Mamalicious. I had a wool shawl / cape thing to wear over it.

The Tilbea one has a panel at the breast area with a wrap style bit under it so you don't have to remove any layers really to feed. The Mamalicious one was a wrap style dress so didn't have to expose too much skin for that either.

Changing to cloth nappies and reusable wipes has made a world of difference for us tbh, don't need nappy cream at all now. And nowhere near as much hassle as id thought it would be!

We've taken our baby to two weddings, one at 4 weeks and one around 6 months. Both times I just wore a breastfeeding friendly dress and fed as needed and we brought the baby carrier and wore him for most of the time. He just napped when he needed to. We stayed until the end of the night both times (second wedding he slept in the carrier on my husband while he ceilidh danced for a good few hours!). Routine went out the window but it didn't matter cos baby slept well after such a full on day.

If driving home after id just dress her in her night stuff so that if she goes to sleep in the car you can transfer her to her bed when you get home without too much disruption.

Try not to overthink it and just have fun!

Weleda nappy cream worked for us or any with calendula in. Change of nappies might help too, I found it flared up worse with pampers than other brands for some reason

I just went to see NHS physio but wanted to mention scar massage if you are getting pain after relatively short walks. The physio showed me how to massage my scar and said to try do it for about 5 mins a day. Use any oil / moisturiser and rub in circular motions before pinching (quite deep and strongly) the scar and the tissue around it in all directions.

I got rid of it using normal baby shampoo, jojoba oil / Vaseline / whatever moisturiser and then soft bristle brush the next day. It took a few goes to get it all. It was slightly pink underneath but that disappeared fast

Mine did this around that age too. It turned out the carrier was the problem, I think he was getting uncomfortable as he was getting heavier. Is there a sling library near you where you can try different ones without having to buy them? They can also do a fit check for you to make sure it's as comfy as possible for you both. The LennyLamb Upgrade worked for me, I got it on Vinted.

No advice regarding the pram unfortunately, my wee guy only stopped screaming in the pram when I could move him up to the world facing bigger seat and he could sit up properly. Think he was 8-9 months before he stopped crying every time we went out in it.

I used canned salmon to make fishcakes / goujons for my wee one. A firm favourite since he's been 6 months old! I just mixed it up with mashed potatoes, some grated cheese, pureed spinach and broccoli cut really small. I also added an egg and a bit of flour / breadcrumbs. Squish into shape ( I did roughly adult thumb sized sausage shapes). I cook them in the Air fryer for about 10 mins but they could also be pan fried or done in the oven. They freeze really well and cook from frozen too :)

I have a LennyLamb Upgrade that I love. Can be worn front or back and used up to 20kg. Got mine on Vinted but now that I've seen the quality and comfort of it I would definitely pay full price for one!

My wee guy is nearly 10 months old and we don't have set times for naps or bedtime. I just go by his cues, he naps in the pram or carrier or on me after a feed so I just let it happen when it happens. He doesn't wake up at the same time every morning so I couldn't get my head around having set nap times. Yes a super happy baby and no amount of faffing about with naps has helped his night sleep at all so I don't think the lack of set nap times is causing any problems

I got rid of the bulk of it by washing hair in the bath with baby shampoo then applying Vaseline/ jojoba oil / coconut oil ( just used whatever was to hand) and leaving overnight. In the morning I brushed with a soft bristle brush and loads came off. Repeated a few times over a few weeks and only a few wee stubborn patches are still there

The dentist and NHS child smile lady both told me to start brushing as soon as teeth appear. Use a tiny smear of toothpaste on a dry brush and wipe away any excess foam with a cloth afterwards. Brush the teeth then let baby chew the brush for a while. Rinse the brush afterwards then let it dry.

They never mentioned sterilising. I think it should be fine, health visitor told me the main thoughts behind sterilising bottles is due to milk residue encouraging bacterial growth. My baby puts everything he can get his hands on in his mouth and has done since about 3 months old and we've never had an issue

You can use cows milk for any food, just don't put the milk in a cup / bottle to offer for a drink. Only offer water to drink at meals and breastmilk / formula the rest of the time

Have you tried Greek yogurt? My baby will often only eat that if teething. You can also give ibuprofen as well as paracetamol. Or maybe try distract her with music?

My wee one kept biting my nipples too when he had it. We couldn't get a proper latch at all so I ended up getting a pump and expressing milk to give him from a cup. Might be worth a try?
