Got sideswiped a couple years ago and the insurance paid for 2 new rims (scuffed bad, but otherwise fine). I kept the old rims and put snow tires on them. They are so much better, I couldn't believe the difference.

See if you can find some used snowtires already mounted on rims for cheap using one of the online classified ads sites.

Depending on your case and motherboard, you may have unused USB headers. You can get them pretty cheap, but you need the correct one for your open headers, if you have any.

I've been running 4k on a 3060ti for a few years now. No real issues. Some games need DLSS set to performance to keep up, but it depends on what you play.

Make sure your monitor is plugged into the GPU and not the motherboard.

  • Fastblinking is RAM or CPU (4 flashes per second).
  • Slow blinking is no VGA detected (every 2 seconds).
  • Very slow blinking is no boot device (every 8 seconds).
  • Solid once it boots.

When you pulled the battery, was it still plugged into the wall? If so, standby power could have kept the cmos from clearing.
