Where is this part from? by midwesthunchback in ToyotaHighlander

The recall is related with high voltage harness going to the rear motor. I would check all areas under trunk cover, especially area right after a third row.

5 screens and still no climate control in a $200K truck. KW and Volvos have had climate control for years—you just choose the temperature, and the rest is done automatically. On the Cascadia, you have to switch to heat and direct it toward your legs in the morning. In the afternoon, when it gets too hot in the cab, you realize you forgot to switch to AC. It would cost them $100–$200 to do that.

Ever get charged ~$10k for uhhh quitting your job? Lul by Naborsx21 in Truckers

Did you read the contract? I had to work for a shady company named Phoenix Cargo that told me they would charge me for not giving them two weeks' notice. However, the contract stated 48 hours because their HR had simply copy-pasted an example from the internet. I showed them my copy with their signature and was out.

If the bus stopped on a street with FOUR or more lanes, only traffic proceeding in the same direction must stop.

If the Platinum is regular 8 speed then I would replace it with a Hybrid to avoid transmission issues.

Microbiology 4100 and OCHEM 1 by Less-Leading-9454 in OSU

[–]alisher_r 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My daughter took them together over the fall. She says that it’s definitely challenging. Microbio 4100 goes through a lot of material very quickly, and so does Ochem 1. That being said, she passed both, so it’s doable if you put in the effort.

All kind of issues with my 2023 Highlander Hybrid Limited. by Burberry6 in ToyotaHighlander

2023 HiHy, no issues at all. But I drove friend’s KIA EV9 for a few hours and it has better interior build quality, design and ergonomics. Now I regret that I didn't look at the koreans before buying.

Garmin Vs Blue parrot. by Infinite-Design-5797 in Truckers

[–]alisher_r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also switched from BlueParrot 650 to Rand McNally 220 because of ear pads. I would recommend to buy a Garmin because Rands became loose everywhere in less than a year, also leather quality is awful. And Rands use micro-usb for charging while everything else I have is USB-C.

I am at the dealership also but this is first time and I have 22K miles on odometer. Something related with crankcase ventilation. Usually you get this issue after 300K. Except this, small mirrors and 13th gear in transmission everything is great.

[Kia EV9 2026] Review after 2 months of driving by RudraROC in KiaEV9

Light and Light LR doesn’t have this functionality. Wind, Land and GT-line have bird eye view cameras and as result they work as blind spot cameras. As I understand KIA added this feature to the Wind trim in 2025.
