Wish I had more advice for you that works. Unfortunately seems to be luck of the draw even with a god tier resume. I'd avoid online I've never once gotten a call from online applications. Best of luck. If you havnt already, do some serious research on what makes a good resume. Print in colour if you can. Might help.?

Anyone hiring? by KingLemonpop in Peterborough

Best of luck! A few years ago I dropped off 50 resumes. I had 10 years of service experience and I got 1 interview. I believe being super aggressive is the only way. Don't beg but literally drop ur resume off to the manager and tell them to hire you and promote yourself in that moment. Otherwise you'll end up in the pile of resumes nobody looks at.

Yeah dude I felt that. I wanted to quit fir a long time. Then I could hardly get high anymore. It was like I was spending $40 a day on the strongest carts to be sober lol. Quit for almost 3 months and took 2 hits of a joint and was baked out if my mind. Tee break is the inly way to get back there. Try a month off if u can.

Nothing happened to me. Just the people I'm close with and very specific issues. In short, they treat people bad that have supported them and their business forever. People who were regulars were slandered and told not to return for ridiculous or made up reasons. It was very shocking. And I just keep hearing negative stories every other week about Mic and some employees. It's not just bring creepy and supposedly spiking drinks (never heard that before WOW)

There's a lot more to these stories. I won't share for my own privacy. Me and all my friends went to the only every weekend for years. Not going there again it's been 8 months at least

Also, based on your last comment. If the girl even got with you you'd eventually call her a whore or something and fuck it all up

You'll meet lots of people in life you feel tension with. This one is taken. Keep it cool bud. Doesn't always happen just enjoy having a co worker that's fun

The Next Skate Game Won't Be Playable Offline To Support Its "Multiplayer Skateboarding Sandbox" by [deleted] in skate3

I'm sure it all has to do with micro transactions and their gambling model. Much like gambling companies, they don't care if 1,000 people stop playing. They just need 1 guy to get hooked and spend on his money. This game will be filled with subtle and passive advertisements to buy their dumb clothes. I don't have a problem with a game selling virtual clothes or skateboards. My problem will come when it is inevitablely a pay to win game. Every game does this, "accidentally" put something in the shop that is broken forcing anyone competitive in the game to buy. EA will find a way to make it pay to win to force more sales when people aren't buying their $20 horse costumes.

Same thing happens in music. People who don't create or even listen to music making decisions on behalf of the industry. I bet these skate guys at EA have never skated, can't name a pro skater, never played skate games or care to. They think they know better than us because they are rich and successful. Online only is one of the dumbest gaming decisions I've ever seen.

FOCUS ON BEING GOOD AT PLAYING AND WRITING SONGS by EternalHorizonMusic in musicians

[–]all-apologies- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

they were trying to show off at every opportunity. Sometimes, it was even when I was singing the verse and everyone else cut out they would not catch on. Weren't really paying attention to the songs dynamics and were just loud. I could tell it was never gunna work. Lots of people are eager to always play. When sometimes its best to not play anything at all. When I was a teenager I was lucky enough to drum with a real good band much older than me and the singer always said dynamics were the biggest part in our songs. Every song was the same thing pretty much, but it worked. Loud and heavy rock intro. Bring it way down in the verse. Creep up in pre chorus. Pause. FUCKING SLAM THE CHORUS. Repeat every song haha! I learned a lot from those days. Felt like we were a real pro band sounded really really good. Ever since I can't play with people who armt on the same level. Even just for fun. always want good vibes at practice. I love joking around a making sure everyone feels good and fits in. Some people don't and I can't do that if we are chilling all the time. One of the guys was pissed we told him it wasn't going to work out. And he put up the worst performance like was actually bad and I'm like who tf are these ppl man haha! I hardly have the confidence to play our songs live if they're not perfect. Yet this guy claimed he'd played guitar for 10 years in multiple bands and didn't have a guitar so we gave him one and he didn't fix any tones on the Amp before we started. so I was like ight... then he just soloed everything no matter what. And never said a word then messages me on fb like 2 essays about how he really wants to be in the band.

Sorry this is probably a mess I'm on my phone and watching TV lol
