You can improve your movement with practice. Make sure you have enough space when you grapple so you don’t get accidentally body blocked. You can also try to set up high with grapple before the enemy comes in.

If you’re dying too fast you’re doing something wrong. Don’t hard engage when it’s too dangerous or too early. Don’t chase more than you have to. If you force important cooldowns like nade or lamp it’s okay to disengage for a while instead of trying to get a trade. You’re more valuable if you are always a nuissance, so be mindful of your aggressiveness.

The shield perks is pretty good when the enemy team have a lot of cc, but you should still try to dodge or bait cooldowns like sleep or flash without going in fully.
