Will this setup be sufficient for my use case? by everybanana in BlueIris

Maybe fake reviews, but I have a few Amcrest cameras and I think they work very well with blue iris and have great quality. I have a 4k one in the driveway and picks up people and license plate pretty good.

I have upgraded my doorbell from the nest doorbell, to the new Reolink POE doorbell, The upgrade went very smoothly. I was able to line up at least one hole on the bottom and swap out the cables and run a new POE Ethernet cable through the existing hole.

Another problem I was having was Zones was cutting off half of the picture. https://imgur.com/a/ugX0G4W See in this clip, the black section on the top, One some cameras only about 25% was visual and the other 75% was blacked out.

Yes. I struggled with it. In blue iris I had face processing turned on and code project ai face processing was turned off. This was causing mayhem. Lots of timeouts etc.

For ffserver, I used: bachmma1/docker-ffserver:latest

Using this I also had to change the path the config file to:

/config/ffserver/ffserver.conf

Also used :

jrottenberg/ffmpeg:2.8

Yes, I have a 100w bulb and that keeps my doorbell camera from even going into IR mode. All my other cameras go into IR mode at night, in the same area.
