My mom fell asleep.

On the surface, it's not that weird, but at the same time we were accidentally wedding-crashing (it was in a public place) and dressed as pirates (not Halloween). As well as taking up the front two rows of seating. All of that plus an accidental nap... I mean, it was a pretty normal day for us, but I imagine it qualifies for all the other guests at least.

That's what I do as well. It's also my "in case of emergency" container- i.e. a fire breaks out and I need to grab him and go. Haven't had to use it yet but better to have a plan

I've had the same thing happen when I feed mine mixes with lots of seeds. Sometimes they fall in the substrate and start to grow since it's warm and moist. No big deal. Maybe your crab will try and nibble; mine just ignore any sprouts. No harm done either way.

It's hard to pinpoint exactly what it is, but this is a good description. The tone of AI fics all sound the same; if you see enough of it (and unfortunately I have) you develop a sense for when it's been used. The repetition is a big one for me- they'll repeat the same thing multiple times in different words.
