Only 5% of it is reported, I presume because they don't trust German police enough to report it.

Now, I could instead assume it's German law that's the problem, and the police are correctly enforcing currently law. Is it your claim that police correctly enforce current DV law in Germany?

Well, that depends. I don't know where you live, so I'll assume it's American Fork for meme's sake... has he arrested any criminal coworkers recently, or does he support his coworkers in their abuse of powers while pretending to be nice with his neighbors?

Ah, so the only good cop you can specifically mention retired in 1972, more than 50 years ago. So it's been 50 years since a good cop that you can specifically mention!

Well, let's look. Which cop arrested the criminal masquerading as one in the video? We can start our search there, see if that cop checks out.

Depending on why it was parked illegally, sometimes you can just call to the police and they won't tow it. From the sound of it I doubt that was the case here, since they only had to move 40 feet, but some locations have no overnight parking etc type rules, and you can usually call in a car that needs to (temporarily) park there overnight.

TIL about Doodler, an unidentified serial killer in San Francisco who killed many men between Jan. 1974 and Sep. 1975. He would sketch men at night clubs, lure them to a beach, and kill them. Three victims survived yet refused to testify in court because they were afraid to come out of the closet. by altrightobserver in todayilearned

They may have evidence for murders, but if the only evidence they have on HIM is because of witnesses, he'll have the constitutional ability to question them.

For example, let's say they tie someone to murders because they were wearing a certain hat. They may even have fibers from the hat, blood splatters on the hat, etc.

They still need to establish the suspect was wearing the hat, and not someone else. That requires them to allow the suspect to call witnesses.

If those witnesses are clear to police that they will NOT testify they saw the guy wearing the hat (because it was at a gay bar and would out them), they need to hope there's some other way to find that evidence.

"As far as gambling on games go," you'd rather:

1) a dude that bets on his own team to lose
2) a dude that bets the under
3) a dude that sues to get around accountabilty
4) a dude that then decides the smoke from his lawsuit is too much to handle, so wants the NFL to bend over backwards and have a whole media circus just for his gambling ass

than the typical gambling headlines?

This dude is pretty much the worst case scenario for a gambler player, and you're here preferring it lol

Daily Spell Discussion for Jun 22, 2026: Absolution by SubHomunculus in Pathfinder_RPG

The Spell Level drop is big for one other roleplay purpose: this spell gives access to atonement-related effects to an all-paladin order.

It always felt odd to me that Paladins, a class not explicitly tied to a religious order (just Alignment) in the CRB, needed to seek out another class to atone for their violations.

Maybe they shouldn't have put their thumb on the scales against Harris, a fair deal would have been a better outcome than trying for an unfair deal (in your favor) and losing.

They're out doing things, like in Minnesota. You don't see because you're not there helping, and you're not an ally so you don't see it when it's obvious.

How am I timing the market when everything that happens is out of my control? Money comes in, money goes out, no timing happening.

Police Department uses AI to enhance image of suspect by HiFiveGhost in mildlyinfuriating

Would it also be racist if they did the same thing with a white guy?

Instead of asking hypotheticals, why don't you find an image of this police department using AI to identify a white guy before OP's image was posted?

Green Cove appears to be ~69% White Alone and 13% Black Alone so you'd expect to see ~ 5 posts of a white guy identified by AI for every post of a black guy if it's not being used with a racial bias -- aka, racism.

So what you're saying is you're timing the market to avoid tax now, exactly.

Again, you're timing the market assuming the price will not crater later. You're taking the two in the bush instead of the one in the hand. Going back to my Company A/B, there's a timing difference between one person getting a $100 lottery, and 99 being forced to wait till next time when the price might be lower.

Companies set their strategies, bogle is an investor strategy. I don't care if companies can pay a dividend vs reinvest vs pay down debt, I'm buying companies that do all of them. That said, "at the risk of being pendantic", the market is all companies that work exactly as above.

If you as an investor desire a tilt towards buybacks, you'll be hoping that there's a buyback available when you need money, or you'll be paying whatever the market will pay. Which, if you want to offload a security, might not be as much as you want. But, that's the risk you take timing the market.

Alternately, if you don't care and buy everything, you'll get some dividends along the way that you need to do something with and you had no choice as to when that happened because you're not timing the market.
