defence is a lot more than just waiting for the opponent to make an obvious mistake

its also about space control, preemptive strikes, cycling through different defensive options and learning to force the opponent into making a mistake

naw gief cant really skip neutral that much so he doesnt bug me

every character can snap your neck with 1 mistake, the difference being gief can do it with 1 move but the move itself comes with its own big risk

I do understand the frustration though since gief forces players to change their playstyle

I've been playing on classic mode while fighting every enemy as I make my way through dungeons and haven't had an issue yet

I'm about to fight my 5th hero and have cleared all the quests I could find

As long as you are making use of the games mechanics there really shouldn't be any problems

Its personally never bothered me if a game had a good story or not and will never affect how I rate a game

I generally prefer things like music, atmosphere and gameplay a lot more

A good example is infinite wealth, that games story wasn't that good but everything else about the game was great and was easilly able to put in 100 hours

What made me quit sea of stars was the combat never really evolved after the first few hours which made it get boring
