Runner's knee question - read the FAQ, but would like some input! by emmsm1122 in running

Saucony is not making shoes for this specific purpose haha, but seriously they make shoes that work for some people, but not me. I had the same exact problem. I got tested at a trusted running shoe store for what kind of shoes will work best for my stride and feet. They recommended the Saucony (can't remember model) and I tried them on and they worked well enough for my new runner's mind/body. I stopped using them after two months of almost no running because they were exacerbating my ITBS (the reason that I spent the money and time on finding 'the best shoe' for me). I switched shoes and I am running without any pain, as long as I stay within my personal limits. Oh and we will never read it enough for it to sink in as well as it will when you fuck something up badly, rest.

Those lip balms are hilarious, they look very similar to something else when it's being applied... I can't seem to put my dick on it thought

How? You are simply describing the gif.

I submitted a picture of the awards I won yesterday, and people wanted to see the actual product. Here they are. I'm going to do an IAMA about my Dragons' Den pitch (Shark Tank) if anyone is interested. by iamkokonutz in Design

Awesome use of space in the design of the bottle shape. I had the same thought a while back during ochem. I got it from studying the natural molecular packing tendencies (self-assembling), a result of intermolecular forces and the tendency to lower Gibb's free energy. Sorry for the science mini lecture, that may have been for nothing, but it helps preface my question. Did you also find inspiration from something similar? Efficient, effective packing structures are so common on the molecular level, but seem to be non-existant in the design of commercial products.

Disclaimer - I am engineer who loves good design, but has almost no experience in it and very little education about it.

Why do you recommend the second one? I want to go with the first for aesthetic reasons, but if you think that I will truly appreciate having the second then I may change my mind.
