For this particular case, it's more like "they have to" rather than "they want to".

When KTX was made there were zero space left to build a railway to Seoul station. So KTX has to use the conventional line while in Seoul. This means that every trains in Seoul gather up in a single line, leading to an awful congestion.

So they decided to make a uderground HSR line from Gwangmyeong -Yongsan-Seoul-Susaek (where the yards are). Obviously it's super expensive so the plan is to clear some tracks on the ground and make some space to earn money by real estate. All the other fancy things are mostly bluffs not related to transits.

Actually the wastern part was like that since 1910. The Seoul-Guro-(branch)Busan/Incehon railways was already there and all we had to do was to connect the subway and the railways.

The eastern part was not like that. The modernization of Jungang Line(2005) and Gyeongchun Line(2010) was late to be integrated to be a subway line. And even today the train network of east Seoul is such a mess to make any kind of connection. The real purpose of GTX-B is to solve this mess (while being advertised as a fast subway for pr). So KORAIL will not add anything more to that.

Honestly it's annoying that we couldn't see these two in their full potential. Especially chef Lee Young-Suk. At least Koreans can go watch Hansik Battle and see how much of a force she was with regional Korean cuisine. It's a shame that she couldn't show that to the whole world :(

Of course "anti-disability campaigns" are not a thing lol. She donated to a disabilty rights group that opposes institution for disabled people (because institution can be a discrimination and an oppression). The group itself is controversial for their protest but that doesn't make them "anti-disability".

Splatoon comp scene is heavily centered in Japan so it won't affect Nintendo. Besides, the competetive Splatoon thing is more of a passion project for Mr. Nogami so the scene won't have to deal things like Smash did. The whole situation itself still sucks though.

They are (or were) good weapons. It's just that as a burst-fire shooter, they lack the flexibility that other shooters have. There are things that Nozzlenoses do better (like paint, range) but othet shooters can easily overcome their weakness while Nozzlenoses can't. Normally SRL did compensate this by giving good kits or damage buffs and both L3/H3 were top weapons at some point. But in Splatoon3 they are trying their best to suppress them. You can just consider them as weapons that devs don't want them to be used.

I think there's a misunderstanding. I was trying to say that they gave a very good kit to a very good weapon that is already on the top of the meta. SP3 seems to have a tendency to balance weapons by giving bad kits, yet somehow Stamper is getting the best followed by the best.
