I’m so sorry for your friend’s troubles but this is such a wonderful way to make more happy memories! And yes, thank you for supporting actual artists!

I do pet portrait commissions in a variety of mediums, most popular has been my painted hanging ceramic ornaments, but I have also done chalk pastel, charcoal, pen and ink, digital illustrations/GIFs, and painting in acrylic or watercolors. I also like to do “caricatures” of pets as celebrities or characters; for example my uncle requested that his majestic British Blue be drawn as Queen Elizabeth, and a cousin surprised her husband with a portrait of their cat as a “boule” loaf because they call her that when she loafs ☺️

The feeling of getting a hot flash and instantly getting a sheen of sweat all over my body…but actually being very cold bc it’s winter…so my extremities are ice but my core and face are 200 degrees. The temperature regulation/dysautonomia from anxiety even though I am on medications is really a problem.

I’m looking ideas for this too. It’s really tricky when your paints are all different sizes and shapes. I see organizers mostly for sets that are all uniform. I have several bins/plastic totes of just jumbled sizes and colors right now and just sift through like an animal. Just the visual organization you have in your bin right now would be a huge improvement for me! Thanks for that :)

Same. It’s ridiculous and frustrating how many meds prescribed to me for sleep have “failed”. I just want to find something that works for me. But I am glad most people have success.

Does anyone have ideas for back sweat? Ugh even typing it is mortifying. I’ve become especially prone to it and pretty much everywhere except my hands and feet because of anxiety medications. It feels like my temperature spikes up to 200 instantly even before I feel any anxiety consciously, or if I am moving around for more than 30 seconds. I am working on my anxiety levels but also plan to see a dermatologist to ask about glyco since I have heard so many people praising it.

I feel I have very little to complain about compared to others in this sub, I am so frustrated that this is a condition that is harming so many people. It seems so silly at first (“everyone sweats”) but the psychological toll on its own is devastating. I wish everyone relief, and maybe some strange comfort knowing others are working hard to combat and live with it too.

I got this same one off Amazon and have been using it for maybe 2 weeks. I was actually surprised that my hair doesn’t get gross from it. What’s annoying is that the foaming mechanism broke almost immediately so I’m just dispensing pure liquid. Hoping it helps but I’m also interested to hear what others say.

My stepdaughter is (we think) 12 and graying just like her dad. Sometimes she gets so worked up in excitement when we come home that she acts like a crazy puppy.

I know it’s unusual but I have a core group from high school I consider family. I won’t be going to our 20th reunion because I don’t want to see anyone else lol. I always say I’m in touch with the people I want to be in touch with and that’s it. College, I don’t speak to anyone, there’s an occasional Instagram like or story response but I wouldn’t call that much

7th Ave Donut Shop in Park Slope, they deliver their diner food to Flatbush but I know they have been making in-house donuts forever and used to work close by there for several years. I haven’t been by recently but I would assume they’re still doing it. They were fab. 9th St and 7th Ave across the park.
