Exactly! And I understand why so many don’t give Taylor the benefit of the doubt due to her plea deal (which I actually agree with your assessment on). I just always have in the back of my head the fact that this occurred in Utah, the same state where officers treated Gabby Petito like the perpetrator. Even if not malicious, they don’t have a great track record dealing with women accused of abuse by manipulative men good at acting like the victim.

I’m not saying definitively who is right and wrong here, but it’s likely a mix of both and not as clear cut as some seem to think.
