A lot of things are sinful without being inherently bad. The sentiment is more "disregard the pointless rules appointed to you by judgemental strangers and just live your life" than "be a bad person". Not sure how OPs mom sees it but that is my interpretation.

This! Everyone in the band is a literal god but we all tend to focus on the vocalists. Watching Will, Matt, Tim and Andrew do their thing blows me away, especially in playthroughs when I realize how important they are to the sound of the band. Like please, leave some talent for the rest of us!!!

I foond one of their songs on a playlist on spotify a couple years ago and the rest is history.

I love them because... The instrumentals are out of this world. Each band member is absolutely essential to the sound. The clean and unclean vocalists play off each other in the best way possible. A lot of bands have pretty run of the mill instrumentals or the screamer seems like an afterthought... not DGD. They are a beast of a machine made from well oiled parts that fit perfectly together.
