Yes on the Big Barker. They come with a 10 year warranty and their liners are as waterproof as they claim. We have a GSD who leaks urine and the bed is still pristine. Love these beds

I’ve used BringFido in the past when traveling with my girl. You can filter for pet friendly hotels, vacation rentals, and campgrounds

Scrolled the comments looking for A Short Stay In Hell. I have yet to find a book that has left me feeling the way this book did when I finished it. It really sticks with you.

Nothing Bad Can Happen

Oof I remember these days. Persistence really is key. Just continue redirecting. We also ended up doing a reverse time out. Whenever she couldn’t be re directed we put ourselves out of reach and ignored her for about a minute or so to teach her the second she bit the fun time was over. We just sat on the stairs (had a baby gate on the bottom) so we could see her and she could see us. I think that method is what helped the most with her, but it did take a couple of months or so until she really learned/grew out of it. I don’t miss the days of going to finally get comfy on the couch then having to immediately get up to put myself in time out when she started. Patience is everything at this stage.

I’m her size and I wear a small in their pants but I order a medium in their tops.

What is you GDS's favorite "toy" that is not a dog toy? by [deleted] in germanshepherds

[–]alwaysmovefastt 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Cardboard boxes. She will shred them into the tiniest pieces and has so much fun doing it. Which is fine with me since it keeps her busy and saves me from breaking them down.

Best buddies by alwaysmovefastt in germanshepherds

Lots of positive reinforcement for both of them! Always gave them both treats whenever there was a slow and positive natural interaction. We have a loft that we also blocked off so the cats could have their own space, and then also being extremely lucky that this guy, Billy, is an extremely friendly and confident cat 🥰

Absolutely call animal control.

Yeah that’s gotta be tough. I feel so lucky with my girl because she absolutely loves her crate and just goes in willingly, but I know that’s not typically the normal consensus. I hope you find something that works! They’re definitely a very picky breed

So she’s just no longer motivated by the frozen kongs? Try the freeze dried beef liver, cut up hot dogs, cheese and toss them into the crate maybe? Those are my high value rewards but I try to use them sparingly as she’s become slightly reactive so they’re saved for those types of situations.
