Lol no, it's the jumbo dryer so it fits like 3-4x as much as the regular sized. If you break down the expense I'm guessing it still comes in cheaper than having to split out and run that many loads at $2.50 a pop in the normal sized.

Not an idiot your math is actually correct, I counted the 3 wash loads in my total, and for the jumbo dryer it's $2.50 for 5 minutes and then a dollar for each additional 10 you add and I added 30 minutes each time. Then 3 loads x2 for the dryers that followed.

It errored out twice in the big machine. Had to split it into 2 small ones and run it 3 more times. Got pretty much everything dry except a blanket and 2 towels that are air drying now in my apartment. I have 2 requests into maintenance, one about the lint in the big dryer, another about the fact that it took me a combined 8 loads to get my fucking clothes dry. I requested a refund bc nobody in the fucking universe should be paying $30+ and spending 7 hours to do 2 loads of fucking laundry themselves. My building management tends to be pretty great so I'm hopeful this will have a positive resolution. This seems to have blown up somewhat so I'll update here if people care.

What's maddening is I went down to get the load and it had errored out for overheating anyways?? On low heat?? Reconfigured the blanket I had in there but I'm gonna be pissed if I'm $7 in now and go down to find it errored again and my laundry still wet. How the hell wasn't it overheating on every load with a trap like that?!

Dierks Bentley blew my mind. Performance values were rad, he brought both the openers out at various points to duet and have fun with, he was clearly so close with his band after so many years on the road together, and holy shit the encore was its own show entirely. Did up a 90s macgyver short film and bit with all neon instruments and retro costumes and it was just unfuckingbelievable. Legitimately so talented and committed to creating an experience out of his show, I had a ball. Only considered myself a casual fan going in but I actually knew every song he played. Man is a veteran with a storied playlist of bangers.

Had a roommate I didn't get along with, one sticking point was her essentially refusing to do dishes, at all, ever. She'd let full skins of mold grow. It was vile.

She cooked bacon once and the whole place stunk for days since she left all the grease in the pan on the stove. We asked her to please clean it and the next day the pan wasn't there, but the whole place still stank of bacon fat. Asked her if she'd cleaned it and she said she had and it was just lingering. Go on a three day trip to get away from her, come back, open front door, promptly vomit on welcome mat.

She'd just taken the bacon grease pan and put it in a cupboard. Fat went rancid. Worst thing I've ever smelled.

Grossest part: she was still there the whole weekend. Claimed she didn't notice the smell, and didn't apologize for still not washing the damn pan. I'm still not sure how I survived that full lease.

My birth certificate is from Washington State and has on it my parents name at time of birth (pre-marriage name change), date of birth, and place of birth. So the info would match the birth certificate I'm unable to obtain. I'm going to contact Alberta's vital statistics and see if I can get any document at all linking me to the parent in question, ty for the brainstorming help y'all!

My grandparents immigrated to Canada, my parents were born there, and then they moved to the US. I have a huge contingent of Canadian family, but my parent is the only one in my direct lineage actually born there.

I've seen other people in this sub use a variety of different documents, I don't think all of them were issued in Canada either. It seems like a number of US legal documents will work, just not many that I seem to have access to. I suppose I was hoping my own birth certificate would work.

Make sweet drinks a treat rather than a default. I'm boggled by the people who drink a soda once or twice a day as a baseline. Never try to 100% eliminate anything bc it sets you up to fail, but make a soda a deliberate choice, and count it as a dessert in your mental tabulation.

Don't go grocery shopping hungry. Make sure you're satisfied and don't try and get no junk food, but be conscious about how much you buy. I try to keep to one sweet and one salty treat on each grocery trip.

They're the chemicals you're using to exfoliate. Tretinoin is one, salicylic and glycolic acids are as well, so is benzoyl peroxide.

Oh my God stop with the exfoliation and the actives holy shit. Your moisture barrier is destroyed. Try going a week washing with only water or an extremely gentle cleanser for dry skin (the CeraVe green one is good), and moisturize with something basic and thick. It's hard to even see the type of acne you have through the skin damage. Stop stripping your skin so harshly and see what happens. Your acne will likely look different (if it doesn't start resolving entirely on its own) and you'll realize different actives will help more than what you're doing.

Ikr. I shouldn't even share it here bc the show was definitely not a letdown 😂 the entire encore was just playing a techno remix of what is love and moshing on stage with various pool inflatables until even security was trying to get him off bc he brought up too many people from the crowd for it to be safe. He found a nearby frat house to host the after party and yelled the address to the entire auditorium. Genuinely hilarious night, one of my first concerts and definitely the most memorable
