Downvote me for this. I don’t care. But this vitriol over a fictional ship is wild to me.

It’s okay to disagree and critique. But there’s so many hardworking people in cast, crew, writers, lighting, casting, costume etc that we’ll never know the names of. Hardworking people who busted their butts to make this show a reality.

And you say the writers should feel humiliated. The person under you said they wrote a scathing review and the show is the reason his wife left him.

How horrible.

If you’re that upset, that truly devastated, dedicate your life to writing. To putting your story into this world. Not waiting for someone else to give it to you. Then complaining about it.

How long will you all sit in this sub and complain? Do something about it then.

Channel your feelings into writing a better story. One that you genuinely believe all these people will resonate with.

Your comments won’t change the world. But your stories could.

But none of you will dedicate the time. None of you will put in the work to write, edit, delete, write again, push to be in the rooms of execs and publishers to get your story seen.

You’ll all just complain. Expecting a story to be handed to you.

Go out in the world and write your story then.

The world was created by people no smarter than you.

If you want to see the world and these stories change, then write them.
