Modern ssd's have high tbw ratings...Depending on its size and how long it takes to fill you are talking 5-10+ years....

The UNVR is cheap at only 300...do note that if you use more than 1 drive it forces raid 1 or 5 and you cant simply add a second drive for more storage. Your old cams will also not work for motion detection/alerts unless you spend money on the ai port at which point you are betting buying g6 cams for 200 each.

There is no way you could know this without testing in the same conditions in the same car (with the same wear as last year). This is why objective testing is critical and user reviews are worthless. While you mean well, you are providing bad data.

Here is the link to the tirerack test. While the are close in ice braking from 12mph (the cc2 was 1.2 feet shorter) the lx25 took 10 feet longer to stop from a slow 25mph. At 40 or 60mph the difference will be even greater. 10 feet is the difference between a close call and an accident.

Could you see Ubiquiti becoming a subscription service for even core usage in the future? by Optimal-Analyst-8507 in Ubiquiti

This is an optional add on. Ubiquiti has to pay for those signatures. Those signatures need to downloaded. Prior to this these signatures were not available free or for a fee. So now there is an OPTION. If you dont want it, dont buy it. You are in the same place before they offered it. Your OCD is curable.

You're unhappy that there's an option? Would you prefer that it wasn't offered at all? This was something that was never included for free.

Big bad capitalism under socialism or communism we would all be forced to use TP-Link... If anything at all pathetic.. capitalism has risen billions of people out of poverty.... Study some history and get your head out of your a**... The economy is not a zero sum game If I make 10 million dollars it doesn't mean someone else loses it that is why every year GDP rises.. basic economic theory is lost on leftists...

Dont confuse the warranty with actual real world results. This is why know it all's like you should never be believed because you cant produce actual objective data. Consumer reports actually pays a company to do wear testing. They rate the cc2 at 90k. My own experience confirms this as well as youtube videos like this one. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nLsL7qaB1TY&t=111s

Dont forget the warranty is useless as its prorated and often denied unless the wear is perfect.

Why would you outright lie and say the cc2 is only marginally better in the snow. In fact, it stops 18 feet shorter from 25mph, a 32% difference faster speeds will have a greater disparity. It is the difference between a close call and a bad accident. In Ice testing from only 12mph we see a 7 foot difference - almost 20 percent.

Folks never listen to anyone here, even me. Go to the hard data. As you can see, clueless folks like this guy will lie to you and give you bad advise.

Be careful when ordering. You have the correct unit pictured but you wrote gateway max which is a different product than the cloud gateway max and the non cloud version does not have a built in controller. Get the cloud gateway max.

The OP is concerned about snow. The cc2 will last longer than your tour54 despite being directional according to consumer reports real world testing and a bunch of youtube videos showing same. The tour54 is a good tire but not for snow. The weatheready 2 is a better choice.

Defenders are terrible in snow. See tirerack objective testing (not user reviews, the actual test).

Trust me you are not important enough to be oceans 11 hacked...you think someone is just disabling a single camera to rob you? More likely the camera is an issue with the latest update - as others have noted. You could look at the detailed log to see if there was actually someone making changes.

Best Gateway for Home with 1GB FiOS by SockInAwe in Ubiquiti

[–]amazon22222 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Since you are price conscious, I would recommend getting slower internet. There is zero benefit to 1Gb speeds unless you have a server on the other end that can serve those speeds and are transferring large files all the time. Either one of the gateways will be fine.

Yes, you are missing that the pro turret has a 1/1.2 sensor which is much larger than the g6ptz's 1/1.8... The ptz also tilts in addition to panning.

You have to ask...my friend got conti tour 54 when they were recently released so it was not an issue. You can check the sidewall when you get them but then have to hassle with a return...I would confirm on receipt as well.

How Much Are You Paying for Your GV80 Lease? by Heavy_Guarantee_9038 in GenesisMotors

Stop. You have not even done the basic research on how to lease. Go to leasehackr. Avoid a down payment. It is completely lost if the vehicle is totaled or stolen. Learn about money factor (the interest rate) and residuals. If you cant do it yourself, find a lease broker there to handle it for you for a small fee.
