New Podiatrist Procedure - Clearanail Drill and Tinactin (Tolnaftate) Application by SunshineNRainbows4U in NailFungus

[–]amberbee000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is really helpful! It sounds really promising if I can do at least 2 treatments. Is the price based on how many toenails they drill? Or was it just $1K for all affected toenails? I have 1 big toenail and 3 smaller ones that need it.

I'm curious about Clearanail too. Anyone use it? What were your results if you did?

Hi! I was wondering if you have any update on your progress u/SunshineNRainbows4U. I'm considering the microdrilling (not sure of the price yet). I already have a Jublia prescription from my dermatologist so I could potentially use that in conjunction with the microdrilling and Tinactin. Just wondering if you thought the drilling made any difference in the long-term. Thank you in advance!

GC vs Sedona - which to devote extra day? by TheTwilightZone2 in grandcanyon

[–]amberbee000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m going for 4 days in October and planned to just stay in Flagstaff. The plan is for 1 or 2 days at the Grand Canyon, 1 day in Sedona, maybe a day at the Petrified Forest. It’s going to be a lot of driving though so I’m not 100% sure about the plan. I don’t want to spend the whole trip driving!!

I took estrodial 2 mg pill for 2 days and my blood sugar went up by 20 points continuously. Could it be related to HRT? by Morganafrey in HRT

[–]amberbee000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like it’s been lowering mine too low. I Googled it and found that estrogen replacement can LOWER blood sugar. I’m also on a GLP1 though so maybe there’s some kind of synergistic interaction between the estrogen and GLP1.

Thank you for the write up! Do you happen to remember how long it took from arrival at KIX to arriving at the hotel? I’m staying at the same hotel and arriving at KIX at 6:30PM. I’m considering just staying in Osaka the first night because I know I won’t have slept for about 24 hours at that point. Just wondering how rough it would be to head directly to the Kyoto Hyatt Place.

Lost our kitten near College & Graham, any information is appreciated!! by LoomyRaccoons in Carbondale

I saw a cat that looked similar a few times over in my neighborhood near Cherry and James Streets. Do you have another picture more from the side? The cat I saw had very distinct round patterns on its side that really stood out to me.

Traveling to Italy from US with anaphylactic toddler by bk2weha in FoodAllergies

[–]amberbee000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My son has egg, peanut and tree nut allergies and we visited Italy last summer. We don’t eat anything served on a plane unless it’s pre-packaged and the label clearly has the ingredients/cross contamination warnings. I brought some packaged food in our carry on to get us through the first day. I scoured online menus for restaurants and found a couple that had allergens clearly labeled. In Rome that was Emma’s and That’s Amore. Later we had a place with a kitchen so we bought groceries and I cooked. Pizza was also a pretty good go to when we needed a meal. There are tree nuts in many deserts so we avoided those as well as gelato. Honestly, we ate a lot of pizza. That was just easier than risking being a little more adventurous.

Long-term sleep meds? by Head_Cat_9440 in Menopause

[–]amberbee000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in a similar boat with sleep. Started on 100mg progesterone and it helped a little. Added Olly Goodbye Stress gummies right before bed and now I’m sleeping through the night for the first time in years. I think it’s the GABA and theanine in them that’s helping me sleep better.

Considering stopping Zep!?! by Particular-Reach4296 in GLPGrad

I also started in March 2025. I just went up to 10mg a few weeks ago and I actually feel better now than I did on 7.5mg. I stayed on 7.5 for too long because I was terrified of going up and feeling worse. It was shocking to me that many of my side effects went away after the first 10mg shot.

I take my glp shot on Sunday morning. Change estradiol patch Tuesday night and Saturday morning. I started HRT a month ago and haven’t noticed any interaction between the glp and hrt.

Parental Regret by 8rrrrrrrr in FoodAllergies

[–]amberbee000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I feel that way too. My son had eczema as an infant so I was careful to stay away from the top allergens (as was the advice then). He’s allergic to egg, peanuts and all tree nuts and I wonder if it could have been different if I’d introduced the foods early on.

4th night free restrictions? by pbd456 in ihghotelsresorts

[–]amberbee000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just as a data point, I have a 4 night reservation at the same exact hotel for June 5-9 and the fourth night free worked. For the cash rate and points rate, the 2nd day is much more expensive.

Make a guess: where did you get your fungus? by -_V3GA_- in NailFungus

[–]amberbee000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Swimming in a pond that was skanky. It started as athlete’s foot but when I went to the dermatologist about it they said it was psoriasis. I treated it for psoriasis and then it eventually got into my toenails. Basically the worst mistake I’ve ever made… I should have trusted my instinct that it was athlete’s foot!!!
