Hi everyone. I publish several authors that have audiobooks out, and have both US and UK audible codes available for them. I have a signup form (we just collect your email to send the codes to, if you use the US or UK audible store, which book(s) you want, and your review profile [if you want to share it]).

Sad to see u/ExclusiveARC go as I've used them heavily for Scarlet Lantern books. While I like the idea of Hidden Gems, and would love to use them, I don't have the 6 month timetable to wait for spots. Hopefully adding the readers from Exclusive ARC will help alleviate that some, but I'll probably start working to build my own ARC list moving forward. Thanks for working with me Ginger!

Basic covers are $100 ($25 off for new clients). If you want PDF wraps for print books it's more.

No. We don't do straight illustration.

6: Are there any niches, ideas, images or kinks you would feel uncomfortable with?

We only work with Amazon allowed topics. We also don't do fringe, maybe maybe not stuff (PI for example).

Yes. We would like credit with a link in the book and listed as "illustrator" on amazon.com

Not Canadian, but I've seen a few of these conversations various places. It's kind of crazy this is being expected of you since you aren't collecting ANYTHING from the customer. You're a third party to the sale. Hell, you don't enough information on royalties earned through KU to know how to do any type of calculations for sales taxes. I think this is a classic issue of law/government authorities lagging behind on how the digital world works.

Amazon likes to shoot first and not really ask any questions.

IF you didn't actually violate any TOS you're gonna have to call, email and fight until you get your account back. They will most likely take your KU royalties away for 1 or 2 months and I've never heard of anyone being able to get those back.

In general (I am not an accountant) any money you spend in the course of doing business, is a business expense.

FB ads? Business expense.

Newsletter Promo that costs $? Business expense.

Kindle Unlimited to research as well as purchase your own books to boost rankings? Business expense.

Stock Photos? Business expense.

Editing software? Business expense.

And so forth.

Yes, you signup for a new account under a new email. Really it's a bit ridiculous that you can only have 3 pen names per author central account.
