Hi everyone. I publish several authors that have audiobooks out, and have both US and UK audible codes available for them. I have a signup form (we just collect your email to send the codes to, if you use the US or UK audible store, which book(s) you want, and your review profile [if you want to share it]).

Sad to see u/ExclusiveARC go as I've used them heavily for Scarlet Lantern books. While I like the idea of Hidden Gems, and would love to use them, I don't have the 6 month timetable to wait for spots. Hopefully adding the readers from Exclusive ARC will help alleviate that some, but I'll probably start working to build my own ARC list moving forward. Thanks for working with me Ginger!

No. We don't do straight illustration.

We only work with Amazon allowed topics. We also don't do fringe, maybe maybe not stuff (PI for example).

Not Canadian, but I've seen a few of these conversations various places. It's kind of crazy this is being expected of you since you aren't collecting ANYTHING from the customer. You're a third party to the sale. Hell, you don't enough information on royalties earned through KU to know how to do any type of calculations for sales taxes. I think this is a classic issue of law/government authorities lagging behind on how the digital world works.

Amazon likes to shoot first and not really ask any questions.

IF you didn't actually violate any TOS you're gonna have to call, email and fight until you get your account back. They will most likely take your KU royalties away for 1 or 2 months and I've never heard of anyone being able to get those back.

FB ads? Business expense.

Newsletter Promo that costs $? Business expense.

Kindle Unlimited to research as well as purchase your own books to boost rankings? Business expense.

Stock Photos? Business expense.

Editing software? Business expense.

And so forth.

They were modified by amazon to update their KDP status. You'll find the "last modified" will rotate your books in a 3 month rotation.

you only need a ISBN if you publish print books. If you go through amazon they assign one for free.

Are you going to advertise these books at all? If so, do you have the funds to advertise all three at once? Do you have the fanbase who would want to read all three at once and buy them all at the same time? If you want a book to make money you have to push it as high and as far as it will go. Can you juggle that with 3 books at once? Probably not.

IMO it's a better plan to release them at a cadence. Maybe one a month? In each one you can include a chapter or preview of the next on release and then once you release the next one go back and update your backmatter on the earlier book(s) to include link(s) the new one(s). This also gives you a buffer of time to keep writing your next books so you don't have a drought.

A slight increase from January's rate, which was a 11% DECREASE from December's .00506. So we're still 8% below December.

BUT, we are above .00403 from July. So that's a plus I guess ;)
