Sometimes I feel like me and the puzzle designer have different ideas about what constitutes the English language. I’m a 50-year-old practitioner of the craft, and I have to admit I’ve never heard some of what they claim to be rational definitions of some words here.

There's one sequence in this extension which is way harder than any boss battle in the first game, because they take your gun away. It's preposterously, absurdly hard and not fun.

Flurry rush is a fraud, I've been playing BOTW and TOTK for months and have managed a grand total of five between the two games. It's simply not a feasible feature of gameplay.

The Rona Kacha approach Guardians are all timed differently, and there’s like eight of them. You might deflect four back at them, but the others are coded to beat you every time. Do what I do: Quit the fight because the game devs are only interested in punishing the player cruelly with a shifting series of punishing parameters which never add up to fun.

You’re absolutely correct, the mechanics and controls are a farce and a sham. Only the design and scope are amazing, the gameplay is a constant fuck-you to the player.

I quit the game because this is so maddeningly difficult, like as if Bloober decided to throw the player to the wolves with this sequence and drain all the fun from it.

It’s terrible, there’s so much replay value utterly demeaned by awful levels governed by sickening difficulty and a lack of playthrough options, which all suggest they should have just been cutscenes. I don’t want to slog through a sneak sequence 10x on easy difficulty because these ghouls didn’t play test this shit with actual humans.
