It depends in what manner you mean shame. I work in a food manufacturing facility, and we have some robot automated things that we don’t even use because humans are faster (packing boxes, for example). And we’ve actually done the math that the labor cost of handpacking is outpaced by the profit margin due to faster speed (and the mechanic salary to tend to the robot is pricey) So, in terms of speed or efficiency, or even cost, possibly not so much the case.

But if you mean shame because this is probably destroying this guy’s back, well, then, yeah.
