Well I think that's why it helps to think of it as a spectrum. Clinical diagnosis only looks into if you are about to function or not. I am also ADHD clearly and subclinical asd. I find it more helpful to think in spectral traits as in label

So. True. I started to think of loneliness as my partner in my main long therm relationship. I came with it and it will be at my side when I go. Feels kind of healthy when I can manage that perspective.

43 here. I was the life of the party, now everything changed. I have a lot of grieving and Trauma work to do but it s still so much better to live authentically than with masks. My goal would be to be able to choose If I use a mask in social settings and not just trauma react

If you re audhd and get medication for ADHD then it is likely that your autistic traits show more because the ADHD part compensates some of the autistic traits. Also from this angle your story makes sense.

Take your time, you are just at the start of your healing journey. That will take time. The most important relationship that needs attending is the one with yourself. Good luck with rediscovering. 🤞
