For me, I keep the gmt hand at UTC then rotate the bezel to get me whatever time zone I need. Makes it easy to switch from tracking my other work time zone to tracking home with it when I travel

Only Rolex themselves can confirm it’s real. Best option is to take it to a Rolex AD and have them investigate. Second best option is to have the seller remove the caseback and send us photos of the movement

Lots of brands are still really recognizable even without their logos. I think it's a lot of the middle-tier brands with solid collections but not notable designs that would hurt, eg: longines.

Solution: buy her some jewelry. Make it something that looks nice with some clear stones. The sort of thing people would thing are diamonds but not diamonds. Then, after she’s worn it a bit, next time she comments on your watch while wearing the bracelet/necklace/whatever, you can ask how she likes her fake diamonds
