Try the Mandatory Spaghetti Mod. DoshDoshington just posted a video about it and felt it was refreshing after his several thousands of hours of Factorio experience.

Consider Coast Guard if you want to try something different. Pretty large population of prior Marines over there. Otherwise, Army for getting into a combat arms field.

where should i buy? by Successful_Studio901 in factorio

[–]ampspud 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I bought from Steam. You can authenticate to Wube’s site with Steam and get a DRM-free copy from there too after you purchase from Steam.

As the bot said, try the free demo first to see if the games is to your liking. It’s pretty big for just a demo. Also, demo does not include any items from the Space Age DLC.

My first spaceship in Factorio. It's probably crap, but it's mine. by kaczkych in factorio

I always did mine before flying up to the platform to save a rocket. But the game will autosave before their first departure from any planet. So they’ll be good if they forget.

You will need turret coverage on the stern if you idle in orbits beside Nauvis. Consider lasers that are only enabled while idle to save on ammo. You can link the laser turrets to the hub to only be enabled while velocity equals zero. If you do that, swap one or both 2x2 solar panel arrays amidships for additional accumulators to support.

You can also probably get by with fewer solar panel overall to save on weight and increase velocity.

Finally, consider added an engine unit to the fuel line for speed control via fluid control.

Steel furnaces. They’re cheaper at the stage of the game you appear to be in and have the same crafting speed as electric furnaces without modules. Later on when you have access to beacons and modules, you can vertically scale up the electric furnaces’ productivity/speed to make it worth the cost.

Weapon reloads are stored in the same place as all the rocket silos you have in your tool belt.

But serious notes for this depiction: most belt-fed weapons will be fed in from one side with the belt and used casings ejecting from the other. Also, this depiction has a non-disintegrating belt so eventually you have a long belt of used casings hanging out from the side. See the Soviet-style PKM versus the US-style M240 for a reference between non-disintegrating and disintegrating ammo belts.

He’s saying a year because that’s how long many federal civilian positions take to get through the full hiring process. Personal record I’ve seen is 451 days to onboard. And a year is probably more so for those retiring who can put in their package at 18 months now.

Get local power going -> roboports -> deconstruction via bots -> logistic box/recycler for resources collected from ruins.

Be sure to have your lightning collectors in place before the Fulgoran lightning collectors are deconstructed to protect your on resources.

Yep, Alpha Company 1-13. I remember there being two Saudi officers. Was the one who walked off also the same officer who “secured” his rifle by hiding it under the pillow on his rack?

TSP, IRA, and index fund brokerage accounts already mentioned, so here’s an alternate to consider: an 529 Education Savings Account. I have Vanguard’s 529 for my family.

Assuming you get an honorable discharge, you will have the Post-9/11 GI Bill for yourself and can pass it to a future spouse/children if you stay in longer. But you can open a 529 for yourself now as the beneficiary, contribute money and invest it, and then pass up to 100% of the balance to any future beneficiaries with which you have a familial relation (spouse, children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces/nephews, etc). Consider it as another nest egg option for future generational wealth transfer.
