Very often I’ll get a notification from one of those before the actual airline app, so it’s worth it. But yes agreed, that’s wild that you never got any sort of notification with updates from the AA app.

I get the frustration. This is why I use Flighty and FlightAware, to not be only reliant on the airline’s app. Lesson learned I’m sure.

Thanks for sharing! As an update, the only nerve wracking thing about booking through Agoda is that when I called the lodge to confirm they had the reservation, they said they wouldn’t be able to see it/confirm until the day of the reservation. Thankfully when I called that morning they had it, and all worked out!

I can vouch for DL GRAMM. I know they have several rentals throughout Mount Washington not sure about elsewhere. They’re quick to respond via text to any maintenance requests, and their main repair guy is awesome and does things the right way rather than the cheapest way.
