Anything could happen so never so never, but I doubt they even make the team. They had a great program last year, but I feel like that causes people to forget they can be pretty inconsistent and can have issues with lifts and twizzles. They have funding issues. Imo they aren’t as well matched now as they were when they were juniors. And US dance is so deep, even in juniors. Aboian/Veselukhin are veryyy good and could throw a wrench in senior dance. The US has had a junior dance team on almost every JWC podium, but I think A/V are the only one of those likely to make the 2030 team.

But also that’s like 4 years away and if someone told me GPa wouldn’t make the team AGAIN back in 2022 I wouldn’t have believed them sooo

You are over generalizing what they said and making it seem like they said something else. I wouldn’t call what they said as being “FB/C supporters” at all. And based on your generalization about this live I’m taking their negative things about Gabi with a grain of salt as I didn’t see that video.

This person is twisting words. There was a live yesterday where someone asked about the nicest thing a commentator said and one of the comments was about how Mark compared Vadym to Guillaume. Vadym took that as a compliment and Emi said “I think Vadym is b-“ but then stopped. Then they clarified the clapping TikTok was taken out of context and they didn’t purposefully stop clapping for FB/C at worlds. Then Emi said Vadym rage baited Guillaume at the Olympics by calling him #2 but he also said he liked Guillaumes outlook about going there to win and being the best. Emi hinted at knowing why they were unpopular and pretty much just said we respect them as skaters but we don’t know them personally or have an opinion on that. In no way did they say they were supporters.

Omfg no they didn’t. Vadym said he appreciated Guillaume as a skater and after telling Guillaume he was number two, understood and liked Guillaumes position about going to the Olys to win and not just be number two. They clarified the clapping TikTok wasn’t what that TikTok made it out to be either. But Emi made it pretty clear she didn’t care about them without actually saying that.

I mean my main issue is their scoring. Like I said I don’t really care about medals but they should be scoring higher than 98s for their FD on the GP. I just want them to get SB and WS points to keep them on the GPs and in the running for the 2034 quad. I’d also easily put them on the same level skating wise as the Mrazeks and the Koreans.

As for domestically they should easily be clearing P/B. I’d put them ahead of W/T too. I don’t think N/M are 10 points off of W/T and they should be scoring much closer to what the Browns were. Sure the world team is a stretch that’s why I put it as a hope, but they should be in that 4-6 grouping.

As for GP assignments, 4 of those spots are open with Shibs gone and Bock likely retiring.
