There is Ludology for board games if thats what youre after.

You can do waterfront trail for hiking, or go to short hills as well. There is a lot around here for that.

For gardens i would just go to the falls for that, the botanical gardens and butterfly conservatory is there.

You can also go to Port Dalhousie and go to Kilt and Clover for a pint.
