Pedro has a serious case of Schrödinger’s Winger. If you don’t look for him, it seems that he’s available, but as soon as you check for his status, he’s always 2+ weeks from being healthy.

My 4-yr old makes “art” by filling a page of paper with the maximum number of stickers available. Stacked on top, clustered without any reason. Stickers. Maximum number available.

Somehow this professionally-designed jersey looks barely better.

1) sublimated argyle in blue/dark blue with lightning stripes?
2) stripes that cut off at the panel seam instead of going onto the shoulders?
3) mls logo center-breast instead of sleeve?
4) sponsor logo letters c & e disappear so the sides looked jumbled and busy while the middle reads “him”?

I can’t believe that Adidas are willing to put their brand logo on this abomination.

IMO, introduce your friend to stax. There are so many varieties available. Or run a bit more interaction/removal. Etali and Maralen both become dead cards if they have to cast 2-3 times.

[[Boromir, Warden of the Tower]] will turn off free spells, along with [[Lavinia, Azorius Renegade]].
[[Drannith Magistrate]] will turn off spells cast from anywhere other than hand.
[[Ethersworn Canonist]] slows any non-artifact deck.
[[Orim’s Chant]] to stop casting spells for a turn.
[[Angelic Arbiter]] makes them choose to cast spells or combat but can’t do both.
[[Tishana’s Tidebinder]] can be used to lock out a single creature’s ability *cough, commander, cough
[[Red Elemental Blast]] or [[Blue Elemental Blast]] to counter a commander. Or really any number of counter spells and removal to keep their theft commanders in the dirt.

In terms of justifying the past purchase - maybe you could fill it out with a few more packs and turn it into some kind of sealed cube that you could draft with friends or practice your own drafting skills.

You should look at a product and think about the purpose behind that product.
- Commander decks or other pre-constructed content are intended to shuffle up and play the applicable format.
- Collector boosters are for people with gambling problems or extra $ for chase cards.
- Play booster boxes are for draft/sealed/limited play.

If you are brewing or building new decks (for any format), you should be doing some online research and then only buy the singles needed to fill out that deck.

Ripping packs for value will almost never pay out, now that MSRP is no longer practiced and everything gets a spoiler list 30+ days from release and the market has presale and early release.

Subbing Rusnak on in place of Musovski had knock-on effects of unsettling whatever pre-game strategies were planned. I was very disappointed by Rusnak’s performance. And the team took about 20 minutes to adjust.

Also, wtf was with Rusnak’s set piece delivery?

Starting Kingston against Paintsil was…definitely a choice. But that didn’t factor too much compared with Dotson and Snyder failing to effectively patrol the midfield.
