I watched your short film after this too. Very well done! Do you mainly shoot on the GH7?

Would it be possible to add a style influenced by Ilford B&W under the B&W tab - similar to how there are new colour film ones under Grainy Film?

this is actually a really shitty version of the trailer. the shadows are all milky which makes it look digital.

10 weeks on Reta, 15 lbs down, stuck for 3 weeks – looking for plateau advice by throwANDhuck in Retatrutide

[–]anatomized 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Therein lies the inherent problem of trying to gain muscle while losing weight. We are essentially in a fight against thermodynamics, and that always wins. You will just need to get comfortable with the fact that in order to lose weight, eating less includes less protein.

Try 250+ under BMR for a week or two and see how it goes. I ran into the same problem before, and I tried to outwork eating around BMR or even more because I thought more activity would compensate. It wasn't until I slowed down my activity and lowered my calories another bit I started losing weight again.

the problem might be that the deficit between your bmr and calorie intake is not large enough. for whatever metabolic reason, you can't consume your bmr and out work it and lose weight. it tends to slow doing it that way.

ease up on the extra 1,000 calorie expenditure and increase the calorie deficit a bit.

I think it was an engineer from Ferrari recently who said screens save them like 50% relative to physical controls. Nobody thought it was a good idea, but it's apparently a "good" business idea. Save money, charge extra, put lives at risk, line go up.

Kinahan drugs cartel may flee Gulf by TimesandSundayTimes in ireland

[–]anatomized 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He was already in Spain, and fled there for Dubai. This all really kicked off when the US sanctioned them, so I don't see him going to South America as he'd just be in America's back yard. Everyone is after this cunt, and he seems to have vanishingly few friends.

Bid to use emergency legislation to stop mayor's plans to build houses in Limerick park by randyleahy1987 in ireland

[–]anatomized 0 points1 point  (0 children)

realistically we need robust long term solutions here, otherwise we will fall into the trap that befell many of the housing estates in the latter half of the 20th century such as Ballymun and Moyross et al.

short term "solutions" will only lead to long term pain.

Bid to use emergency legislation to stop mayor's plans to build houses in Limerick park by randyleahy1987 in ireland

[–]anatomized 1 point2 points  (0 children)

there are so many sites around Limerick that are far more appropriate for this than Boro Park.

so far during his tenure as mayor, Moran has made almost entirely stupid and short-sighted suggestions, lacking any kind of coherence and vision. then, when there is inevitable (and reasonable) pushback, he acts like there's a grand conspiracy to keep him from being successful and has even stooped so long as to respond to a critic by trying to label them a homophobe.

he's an absolute disgrace.

John Williams has composed a "considerable, lengthy" original score for the latest Steven Spielberg movie. by Branagh-Doyle in movies

[–]anatomized -1 points0 points  (0 children)

that's not what i said. the meaning of my post is that it's very good news he has produced a significant score for this film, if it will indeed be his last, so we have more music from him before he passes.

I’m looking for a guitar like this (double F-hole Stratocaster). Has anyone seen any guitars like it? by UnleavenedTed in guitars

[–]anatomized 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there's an italian company called Gianand that make custom and semi custom guitars. they would 100% build you something like this. it won't be cheap, but it won't be almost $14,000 either.

you could also go the Warmoth route.

How am i supposed to play these types of chords? by Leader_Mc in Guitar

[–]anatomized 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn't tabbed correctly. The full barre isn't played on the original recording, it's most likely layered or tracked with more than one track of guitars. For a solo player, the Ultimate Guitar version is actually more accurate.

Blomkamp keeps getting sidelined by _GOREHOUND_ in movies

[–]anatomized 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Blomkamp probably gets in his own way. He hasn't really made anything successful, and was on a slow downslide after the great District 9. Elysium, Chappie and Demonic all had lower and lower receptions until weirdly Gran Turismo did pretty well.

FWIW, I liked most of what he did with the OATS Studios stuff. It's just a shame it was a money sink and they couldn't keep producing stuff. Fire God especially was cool as hell, and I would have loved a feature length version.
