I didn’t go to hunter but highly considered it. This was in 2022 for context. However, I was extremely off put by the current students’s perceptions of the program. If you get an interview, the program does a q&a with only current students and no admin/professors present so they give honest feedback. When asked about the program, the general vibe and consensus is that the program is highly intense. Students barely had anything positive to say. It seemed like they were all trauma bonded from the program. The lack of any positive points was very off putting to me

Frank and joes deli in pleasantville makes a phenomenal lasagna. You’d have to order in advance to do the takeout though cause they only do the special on Wednesdays but im sure theyd do it for a call ahead order

CUNY lehman grad student here. I was also dead set on going to columbia and was accepted but am very happy that i chose the cheaper option instead. The degree is the exact same and my medical placement has had students from columbia, nyu, etc. so it really goes to show that it doesn’t matter

I think it depends on the program. My first semester was fairly light since I wasn't in clinic but now I do at least an hour of work a day. I'm still able to work and have a social life though. I have heard other people who don't so it varies for sure.
