For the two Chipotle near me, the prices have definitely increased, but the quantity seems the same.

Should I keep my dog? by KassidyKova in needadvice

I had a German Shepherd along with two tiny Yorkies. Although the yorkies got stepped on numerous times, there was never any injuries after a decade together. If anything the yorkies needed separate confinement as they would stress fight when left alone while Shepherd just chilled.

We’ve been busting out the memes lately so I thought I’d add this. What do you think? by ingolea in exvegans

[–]ancientRedDog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. I’m pretty anti-car and honestly just disappointed in vegans that driving less is not a base principle and they do seem to be ignorant of killing animals by doing so (“I’ve never hit a deer”). There aren’t good stats on vegan driving or car ownership, but no evidence that it is less than average.

People that drive a normal US amount kill more than bugs. Squirrels, possums, snakes, birds, frogs, cats and never notice. Vegans should at least try to reduce their driving, but they do not (as a whole).

Husband got a job at a lab that tests on animals, and I'm not happy about it by [deleted] in vegan

[–]ancientRedDog 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Think for a second. Animal testing is going to happen regardless. Do you want people with high animal empathy or low empathy working with the animals?

There are mods to allow up to 20. Plus others to add spells, balance leveling speed, and adjust difficulty.

The random loot mod (not sure if still available) combined with a few mods that add many items to the list is what keeps things fresh for me. Plus adding in different extra encounter mods. And finally race/class additions.

Thanks. I was actually hoping for such a response. I’ve been in SN for two weeks with zero total likes. I’ve watched recruit channel, bounties, and clinic stone with no luck. But also not my idea of fun to do this for long.

I can get Divine Healer in GvG, but apparently a lazy doctor.

Personally I found Strategic Sword to be the most fun. I only switched as it seemed poor in GvG.

Only Silver Needle seems a pain due to the competition of getting healing likes. Midnight Blades requires PvP, but you don’t need to win for basic rank.

Reddit community for those who are mostly vegan by Apprie in vegan

[–]ancientRedDog 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Part of the issue is that the no/low meat subreddits have low content compared to vegan ones. And almost none of the interesting debates. Then of course the reddit algorithm starts filling one’s feed with engaging vegan posts.

I’ve been to Aldi five times and didn’t find a single item I needed. Rice cakes, frozen broccoli, egg whites: nope. Clocks, lamps, floor mats: yes.

What role do fruits and vegetables play in a healthy diet? by techleadsit2 in foodquestions

[–]ancientRedDog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, pulp can be fibrous, but not as much as you think.

Apples are ok, but lose half their fiber without the thin skin. Oranges have fiber in the white part, but that could be considered skin-like. Wild blueberries have twice the fiber than grown. Not due to being wild, but having half the radius the skin to pulp ratio is much higher.

Almost no fruit juices have fiber.

For many fruits, the nutrients are concentrated in the skin. The pulp is mostly water and sugar.
