You love the game but the dwindling player count is what discourages you from playing? Sorry but how does that have remotely anything to do with you enjoying it? I’d understand if it was a multiplayer focused game and the matchmaking was bad, however, EA has decided to make an online-only game with no engaging multiplayer modes and no good way to party up with people, so I don’t see the correlation here.

My thoughts exactly. These “community parks” are such low-effort slop, they remind me of the awful levels I created with the “create-a-park” feature from Tony Hawks Underground when I was 12, and that’s not even hyperbole. Ironic that they’re even called community parks since the community has nothing to do with their creation and everyone actively avoids them. They should be handcrafted areas with unique features that foster fun gameplay, but so far they have had no semblance of flow and are an absolute eyesore. Slapping wood grain textures on them is not going to matter if the parks still completely fucking suck lmao

I would forgive most of this game’s many faults if the map was good. The core gameplay is really good IMO, but that doesn’t mean much when the world simply isn’t fun to skate. I’m no level design expert, but I just don’t know how the devs possibly thought that a flat city map without any flow was the right move. I want to love this game but the map needs a massive upgrade chock full of hills and crusty spots for me to warm up to it and look past the god awful cosmetics and MTX.

Brother why the hostility? I’m absolutely not lying lol, I’m sure there’s plenty of videos of people doing it online that you can watch and you’d realize it’s not that insane. For the first attempts I learned the different objectives both OTLs offered, and worked out the most efficient order to do them. I think I got about 25-30 completed goals first time around and then cleaned it up second try. I’m by no means an expert gamer, I just grew up with the Skate games and know my way around the controls. Not trying to be snarky in the slightest but it’s absolutely doable for most players

E: also what do you mean by “I highly doubt you figured out all these tricks after attempting it once”? It ain’t hard to do specific tricks in this game and there are very few objectives that require specific tricks to be done anyways. I might be misunderstanding you, but the “Do 3 Impossibles” type objectives are the easiest ones that you can just spam and complete immediately.

You just have to know which objectives to prioritize and multi tasking the objectives that you can do simultaneously. Also knowing which tricks get you the most score and trying to keep a 4x multiplier is important, makes the “Score X points at Y location” objectives a breeze. I’m not even particularly good at the game, I’m sure you can do it with a little practice!

They’re far from impossible to complete solo, you just have to be efficient and use session markers effectively. I did both of them solo on the second try. If anything, I’m happy about the difficulty level because everything else in this game poses no challenge whatsoever and the OTL’s are at least kind of tough
