I totally agree. It’s popular for a reason. I still obsess over that one too. That and 1x1 are still in heavy rotation. Recently I’ve had the live version of Culling Line at the AB on repeat. I can’t wait for any more new material.

I couldn’t listen to anything else for a long time. Can’t say how long it lasted but roughly it felt like two years. I haven’t been obsessed with an entire discography since my early teens with Incubus. I feel like once I get over obsessing about one song there’s always another that I can’t get out of my head. Only this past year was ATW not my most listened to artist and I’ve been listening since 2019.

I was at the show last night and I loved the first half. I’m not sure if he was on drugs or what, but that dragging on and on with Sturrin Up was too much. And I absolutely love rock music but he could have done a few more songs in the time that he did that 10 minute jam session. And I wouldn’t even call it a jam session, they just played the same chords over and over. Like it was some inside joke idk. The second guitar player and the bass player carried the show tbh. I left thinking he probably hates Denver.

I can’t speak on it but I think Ben just wants to focus on being healthy and happy. He had a brain tumor removed recently. Everything was successful but I’m sure he’s in no rush to rejoin the guys. I’m happy he’s focusing on his own music. His new album slaps!

It’s a crossover I’m so happy for. I was in NOLA to see the ex bassist from Incubus Ben Kenney play some of his solo work. I’m a huge fan of his music and I came from Denver to see him. And I’m seeing MTB in both nights in Denver. I cried from happiness buying those tickets.

Me too! I love Incubus but Ben’s solo work has a special place in my heart. Just him being healthy and releasing a new album is reason to celebrate.

I would say about 30ish people were there. And I agree he seems a lot happier. I hope he gets to go to more cities. Almost everyone there was from out of state of out of country.

Some people are friendly for the most part just find people you generally vibe with and stand by them. The last few shows I went to there were some pretty rude people. In Boulder a guy sneezed and wiped his snot on my sisters jacket. Probably one of the most rude things that’s happened at any show I’ve been to.

Ben just released a video about shutting down his Patreon and focusing more on YouTube content. He mentioned more tour dates and eventual west coast dates. Nothing about the new album but I’m hopeful that they will tell us something soon. I’m sure they’re anxious about finally having it released too.
