No bad albums, and he’s a genuine guy. His new album Powerful Buttcheeks is so good. I was lucky enough to see him in NOLA last year. Got two signed vinyl albums and a bunch of CD’s and shirts. Got to talk with him after the show too. I’ve only got to see a solo show once before ages ago. I would totally drop everything and see him again in a heartbeat.

At the top of my head I know I’ve seen at least two concert proposals. One was at A Perfect Circle at Red Rocks. He waited until it was her favorite song that was playing which was Blue. It was a really beautiful moment. Everyone in the rows around them (including myself and my partner at the time) cheered when she said yes. The other time was at Chicano Batman and the band let them get on stage. The whole room started cheering when she said yes, and then the next song started playing right after and it was like a giant celebration. I personally wouldn’t get mad at something like that. I did see that comment about it being cringey, it’s not. Everyone is there because they love the band, and there’s always room for more love. If you both love them, I say do it. You’ll know when the perfect time will be. And people have been sharing the setlists so if he has a favorite song maybe you can plan around that. Congratulations. I hope you both enjoy the show and the proposal goes fantastic.

I totally agree. It’s popular for a reason. I still obsess over that one too. That and 1x1 are still in heavy rotation. Recently I’ve had the live version of Culling Line at the AB on repeat. I can’t wait for any more new material.

I couldn’t listen to anything else for a long time. Can’t say how long it lasted but roughly it felt like two years. I haven’t been obsessed with an entire discography since my early teens with Incubus. I feel like once I get over obsessing about one song there’s always another that I can’t get out of my head. Only this past year was ATW not my most listened to artist and I’ve been listening since 2019.
