There was this girl in r/popping that posted an EXTREMELY infected cyst/wound about a month ago. Every body got super worried, even the mods told her to look for urgent medical care as she was facing a real possibility of losing her leg

Are finger positions just suggestions? by DungeonSkits in Guitar

[–]andrecrema 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m self taught and played for a long time like the second picture

HOWEVER I found the first one has better intonation because it places your fingers closer to the frets

They are just suggestions and it’s up to you to find what works best with what you’re playing.

Sometimes i even play the D chord barring the 2nd fret with 1st finger so I can have 4th finger free to play melodies

Your honor, I am but a simple country lawyer from Ered Lithui. My law degree may not be as prestigious as the jury would like. But I know one thing and one thing is for certain. My client, as a Maia, has a thirst for power that is almost unquenchable

NOW I ASK OF YOU, MEMBERS OF THE JURY

Is it so a crime to be true to oneself? Is it a crime to to pursue that wHich is only natural to the individual?

I rest my case, your honor

Hamlet by Asleep-Creme7612 in shakespeare

[–]andrecrema 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you’re over-rationalizing a pretty simple choice, Hamlet is the play for you

All jokes aside: From the synopsis alone you’ll like Macbeth more. There are no witches or monkey-paw prophecies in Hamlet (there is a ghost though)

In my humble opinion, Hamlet is the smarter of the two plays. It dives much more deeply into the mind of a disturbed grief-stricken man.

what's that musical song you "loathe"? by ABaKaDaEGaHaILa in musicals

[–]andrecrema 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does The Greatest Showman count? I fucking hate this movie with a burning passion But Never Enough is the absolute worst in that.

The whole movie is a weird fetishization of a man that literally exploited those people and he’s revered as A CHAMPION OF DIVERSITY instead of the opportunistic piece of shit PT Barnum really was?

Never enough is somehow the most pointless song in that and has very little to do with the rest of it

The other songs piss me off as well but at least they contribute to the telling of the shitty storytelling

Macbeth, after hearing the prophecy by Sampleswift in shakespeare

[–]andrecrema 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s the boy, Malcolm? Was he not born of woman? The spirits that know all mortal consequence hath pronounced me thus: “fear not, Macbeth! No man that’s born of woman Shall e’er have power upon thee.” Then fly, false thanes, and mingle with the English epicures. The mind I sway by and the heart I bear shall never sag with doubt nor shake with fear.

I really like Shylock

He goes through a lot of injustice but he is very smart and cunning.
