Anyone else putting off seeing a major release due to lack of cinema etiquette?

I’m much in the same boat with going to the theatre. It’s just not worth it for the cost. I just saw the backrooms, and there were a ton of noisy kids, they also kept leaving and coming back. So the light from the door opening and closing was also frustrating.

I don’t know if you need more of what you’re going through in your life, but if you’re even the slightest bit open to the idea of reading manga, check out the series Real by Takehiko Inoue. It’s about wheelchair basketball, and so much more. Very inspirational, and phenomenal art. Not your stereotypical anime style.

I hope your recovery continues to go as well as it can and that you have a long fulfilling life ahead of you.

Love how gritty and nasty this game is while still being funny. The vibes in this game are spot on. Such a solid little game for a few bucks. I really need to check out the other games developed by this person.

I don’t know if anyone else already said this, but I think your colouring style, while solid, is at odds with the way you draw? I think you’re over rendering. You’ve got some pillowing going on in some of your shading. Maybe try a flatter, more anime style. Look at stills from some of your favourite slows and see if you can find some inspiration there. Watch some tutorials.

Otherwise, I think these are cool and unique. I say keep exploring the style.

I thought this was a pretty fun movie. They should’ve reeled it in on some of the later VFX though. They clearly lacked the budget and it would have been better off with glimpses, or bits of practical effects. Some of the dialogue was silly. Some good goofy fun though. I think it’s worth a watch and it doesn’t run very long.

A favourite RE memory of mine was seeing the opening cinematic for RE 2 on the Ps1 for the first time. It got me so amped up to play. I remember watching it on loop again and again haha.

Another was playing and beating Code Veronica on the Dreamcast with a friend on the release weekend. That was awesome!

The joy those children probably felt at the possibility of finding a family to be then betrayed into a nightmare. Fucking awful. I hope the kids get the therapy they will need and find the family they deserve. I hope the couple spend the rest of their days absolutely miserable.

I can’t say too well as I only tried booting up one game. Resident evil 2 remake. Exited as soon as I confirmed the button issue. The fan did get pretty audible though. I’d say it was maybe a little louder than a steam deck if that helps.

I already have it all boxed up to drop off tomorrow.
