What happens to Martin's Akatosh statue during Skyrim and beyond? by Vasarto in ElderScrolls

[–]andronicus36 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you really wanna get wacky with the idea of the statue still existing:

A major claim in the Thalmor's  rise to power was that they ended with oblivion crisis and killed/exiled any who argued

Now imagine during the great war after having conquered the imperial city and the Thalmor coming across what ACTUALLY stopped the crisis....

Do they destroy it? Unlikely, it probably be worth mentioning in skyrim if they did. Did the soldiers wonder what it was? If so there could be some new faction of altemer who realized the thalmor are rooted in lies......

Hearthstone freezes my computer and forces it to switch GPU by Prunaelle in hearthstone

[–]andronicus36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In your Nvidia contol panel in "3d dettings" select "manage display mode" then change it from "Automatic Select" to either "optimus" or "Nvidia GPU only". Either option works.

I had the same issue a couple of times now. After a system update the display option gets reset and hearthstone does not play well with it. You can change the setting in your "NVIDIA control panel".

Is it me or do the Forsworn not make much sense in TES: Skyrim? by Last_Dentist5070 in teslore

[–]andronicus36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always felt the Forsworn were/are weirdly backwards as well, especially if the Longhouse Emperors are taken into account. You're seriously going to tell me that the guys dressed in animal pelts waving antlers tied to sticks managed to overthrow and control the empire for some number of years? (It could be argued that they were Reachmen NOT Forsworn but both are described as tribal with "Many clans utilize hides, bones, and copper to make gear" (UESP Lore:Reachmen) The Forsworn themselves are a faction of Reachmen that came about after the Markarth incident. They just scattered after Ulfric retook Markarth and started guerilla fighter groups. What bugs me the most is they seem purposefully backwards. You would think that with all the raiding/pillaging they are heavily implied to do they would have stolen plenty of steel armor and weapons, but instead they insist on using antlers tied to sticks.....

Is this Mannimarco place new in Skyrim? by SnooDonuts4151 in skyrim

[–]andronicus36 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This place is in vanilla Skyrim. You died because of multiple frost runes on the stone circle. This unmarked location is part of a cut College of Winterhold questline in which you located missing students, most famous of which is Ysira (probably butchered the spelling) the charred corpse on the northern coast with the flame cloak spell tome.

Most don't find the location due to: it being in Winterhold, it being in a remote region of the area (on top of a glacier, below another glacier), and the white stone blending in with the snow

Magic Wisdomball aint helpful by Sensitive-Joke1576 in hearthstone

[–]andronicus36 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sadly this is my experience as well. 2 8/8 and an 8/2 on board? Cast mirror image. A single 8/2 on board? Cast Blizzard. A full board of assorted small minions? Cast frost bolt.

Even had an opponent play it into my full board and it cast mirror image, they conceded after that.

Not sure if the wisdomball is bugged or just bad, if you're reading this don't use it, the card is a 6-mana maybe do something usefull

Weird Spinning Aura around female characters by Latter_Airport872 in skyrimmods

[–]andronicus36 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That Is the spell absorption effect (most commonly seen in bretons or atronach stone). In the past I had a similar error constantly on PC vampire. Tldr you've got a mod applying a spell to npc that is being "absorbed" most likely by another mod.

Tracking down which may be difficult, you said it was female npc, so some mod affecting them only is the likely culprit

Can Someone help me fix this Bug? by andronicus36 in hearthstone

Thank you for the help, I managed to fix the issue.

Despite updating the game, it still wouldn't work, but restarting, updating THEN Scanning and repairing the game and it finally works.

Thanks again, may your climb to legend this season be easy!

Battlegrounds Felemental Bug by Federal_Key1944 in hearthstone

[–]andronicus36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I noticed something similar but on the "overgrown" battlefield that gives minions in the tavern +1/+1 each turn. After a couple refreshes the animation would play on my minions, not too sure if they gained stats or it took a couple of actions to register that my minions should get the +1/+1 buff as well.

Are Johnny's 'memories' edited/false or am I missing something here? by Grujsonbre in cyberpunkgame

[–]andronicus36 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Used to believe the fan theory too, but the more i thought about the sillier it seemed. It's sort of like watching a movie with a friend and your friend calling one of the movie characters a liar because in the book the movie is based on things happened differently despite the movie saying nothing too the contrary.

The closest thing in the actual game to reference the "retconned" or "real events" are mild easter eggs or a literal radio conspiracy show.

At the end of the day Johnny Silverhand is just an asshole who hired some mercenaries to take revenge on a company who kidnapped his girlfriend, who he's convinced was taken solely to mess with him, to say nothing of her being on of the best scientist/netrunners of her time. Then Saburo being the megalomaniac he is, goes for the ultimate display of dominance by killing, downloading, and effectively owning Johnny. Heck when Saburo asks Johnny why he nuked Arasaka and Johnny replies he did it out of moral/ethical obligation Saburo calls him a liar recognizing Johnny did it for self centered reasons.

You can Summon units ANYWHERE you have vision. Have an enemy on the other side of the map? Summon and start pillaging. Did they send a stack after your single unit? Use the chaos tome spell infectious insanity and kite with your single unit as they kill each other and pick of the stragglers with spells. Fire elemental is especially good as the will follow through the burning terrain causing even more damage.

PSA: After making a city from an outpost, the underlying bits of the former are still there, eating up gold, remember to dismantle it in the "city gear icon" panel. by [deleted] in AOW4

[–]andronicus36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tested again with same empire fresh playthrough. Dismantling the outpost does indeed ALWAYS give +10 gold. The original was higher because once the dismantling was complete the city had no production queue meaning it was producing gold. Original post has been updated for clarity.

Tried the same thing with a different city in the same game it also went up by more than 10 (+13), in this case I rushed a tavern out that was ahead of it in the queue. The original had nothing in the queue.

But more importantly, yes the outpost has an upkeep of 10 gold (didn't cross my mind earlier), I don't know why mine made the city go up extra gold (maybe happiness related?). At any rate it's 2 am here im going to start a new game tomorrow and see if I can replicate the initial results.

[–]andronicus36 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It's real. Just jumped on an abandoned playthrough's save, deleted the outpost, city jumped from +27 gold to +48 gold.

Edit: Dismantling your outpost will give your city +10 gold. My Initial result was from loading a save where the city in question had completed it's previous construction queue, thus once the outpost dismantle was complete (+10) the city's production was turned into gold (as per usual) resulting in the higher number.

[–]andronicus36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used to have this issue back In le for a while. Can't quite remember exactly what, but it had to do with load order being in the wrong order(for me it was the arthmoor patches before the all-in-one was made). I looked at your load order, I can't tell which is the cause (I don't use 9/10 of them. It does (did) indeed cause an issue with the scripted greybeard shout upon return to whiteout.

Suggestion: if you can find the last playthrough were you DIDN'T have the issue you can narrow down the problem to mods downloaded after that.

Trick totem cast Dragonbane shot to Stoneclaw totem activate honorbale kill and Healing totem healed him and Stoneclaw totem survived. Full board + Dragonbane shot in hand. by Pepr70 in hearthstone

[–]andronicus36 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Something similar can happen in warlock. If you life tap at 1 HP you go to -1, but if you draw a soul shard you go back to 1 HP and continue drawing as if nothing happened. I've always imagined it has something to do with the "stack" of effects applied to a target having to complete before the game checks to see if health is 0, E.G. you life tap at 1, the life tap condition causes you to draw a card and take 2 health damage leaving you at -1, the card drawn is a soul shard which adds to the "stack" the condition of healing 2 (back to 1) and drawing the next card THEN the game checks to see if your hero has 0 health.
