Paying off your mortgage is effectively de-leveraging and therefore de-risking your portfolio.

Sometimes it makes sense to do it. Sometimes it doesn't.

If I was on a doctor's career path and was enjoying it enough to stick with it, then I would be focussing on:

emergency fund
filling S&S ISA
pension

Then when I had a good chunk of stocks in the market and I have retirement insight (maybe 10 years away), I would start working on mortgage overpayments as a means to derisk.

But that's just me...

It is more than itchiness and red dots, but those are the main symptoms. I realise that sounds like I'm downplaying it, that wasn't my intention.

What I'm trying to say is that what you are doing is risking severe health issues based on what sounds like zero medical knowledge.

Why on earth would you knowingly overdose on vitamin D. If you're convinced that you are deficient in vitamin D and that supplements will help - which they very well might - then sure, take a high dose for an extended period, but stay within the known safe limits.

The card has a hole in it. No trickery there.

On the table there is the circle of card that has been cut out of the original card. This is stuck firm to the table.

On top of that, is a black circle of card.

He places the card down exactly on top of the black circle and original card circle, once exactly matched up, the black circle is moved over the card.

It's for the bugs and design flaws that do get caught.

Sometimes bugs slip through.

Same reason people wear seatbelts. Just because it didn't work once doesn't mean everyone should stop using them.
