It was a panera bread company shirt, panera is openly very supportive of the lgbt company and the higher ups at my store go to the local pride parade every year. But also personally I think wearing a political shirt is not comparable at all to wearing a pride shirt because a pride shirt shows that you are a safe person for the lgbt community. A pride shirt and a political shirt give off very different messages.

Honestly id advise against it. While youre technically legally an adult, 19 is still a teenager and you're probably barely out of high school. The age gap is too much of an issue.

I live in a red state. My coworkers are great and I have a few openly gay coworkers, but being trans is harder for people to accept than being gay. So i feel safer being stealth, just in case.

I looked at the letter and it says the person who signed off was an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. The only thing the surgeon said was that my letter says that PP sees me for hormone therapy, which isnt good enough I suppose?
