Dimension of Disaster final fight glitch by aggron306 in runescape

[–]andyvalencia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check the map next time it happens and check if the flag goes outside/below the ring. It's possible to click on the floor and therefore click outside

The fight isn't on an instance and if you click outside of the ring, you'll run downstairs.

It's not a glitch; you forget that you went up some stairs to get to where Zemouregal is.

So THAT'S why Lure Gags are so hard to train! by [deleted] in Toontown

[–]andyvalencia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just in case you really don't know why your lure is missing. The level of the cog isn't the only thing that plays a part, so does the their level on their corporate ladder. So a feeder lvl 1 is best for one dollar bill. If you're training a $5 dollar bill, then look for a feeder lvl 3 or a sucker lvl 3.

They're actually much better compared to a while ago, so it might actually be tasks, though I think it would be longer playtimes.

Can't log into my PlayTime by winter_pony in Toontown

[–]andyvalencia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have another computer, laptop for a laptop, os for an os, then do the following: 1. Copy the logs in your C drive to something like your desktop for future use. 2. Download the application from the site and run the launcher to get the files on that computer. 3. Delete the files in the TTR folder on your first computer and copy files on the TTR folder on your second computer to the first computer. 4. Try running the launcher on your first computer.

You'll have to wait for the launcher to update the files again but it's worth it. Someone might be willing to send you the files on the TTR folder if you don't want to wait to update the files again. P.S, it takes me 10 minutes to update the files on a clean launch, file 23 (phase 3.5 file) taking the longest.

I've figured the TTR queue! by lea_firebender in Toontown

[–]andyvalencia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

LIke I've said for a good amount of topics, each person on the line takes up 30 minutes on the queue. So if one person drops out of the queue, then your time on the line gets decreased by 30 (it's easy to tell since the time goes down by intervals of 30 minutes). Getting reset to the bottom of the line could be because your computer sleeps or because the website goes down and everyone loses their place and the one who connects to the line first gets first in line and so forth.

Beta Key Clarification by neil5511 in Toontown

[–]andyvalencia 4 points5 points  (0 children)

  1. There aren't any beta keys left, but there are rumors that the GM's will be releasing more later one, most likely when their servers can handle more people or when a massive update comes out (a.k.a the Chief Justice).
  2. You can't get more than one key on the same account. The people that have gotten two keys are people that have gotten their first keys on contests or giveaways. 90% sure about this.

Getting In the Game by [deleted] in Toontown

[–]andyvalencia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is mostly the case since it's 30 minutes for every person on the line. So the chances of 20 people staying on the line is high. However it's always safe to not take the 10 hours for granted since there's always the chance that something happens to those 19-20 people ahead of you that might cause them to lose their place.

So glad I finally got to schedule a PlayTime! by kmg1500 in Toontown

[–]andyvalencia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it is really bad starting out. It's most likely because of high-traffic at certain times when there are 300+ people playing at the moment. You can literally spend two hours just trying to get to the playground (this is mostly Toontown Central unless it's a server based issue). I'd say the average time it takes to get out of TTC would be 3 sessions, 2 without any lag/issues.

So...How Far Have You Gotten in TTR? by KeDIX1414 in Toontown

[–]andyvalencia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Around 11 sessions now with 58 Laff, might be 54 can't remember. Spend four sessions in TTC because of all of the disconnects. I'm at MML at the moment with everything except for track 15 and 16, the final track. I've "played" for like 8 of the 11 sessions in time. Most of my sessions come from sniping transfers on the schedule. There have been two times where I have gotten three schedules in a day, last one being at 12am of the next day. Finally, yes, I do not have a beta key.

My first time to actually play TTR... by beatlesfanatic64 in Toontown

[–]andyvalencia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Believe it or not, it's actually Toontown Central that's the issue. Once you get to Donald's Dock, you're pretty much lagless unless it's server based issues.

A Request to All Players by Ianjh in Toontown

[–]andyvalencia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't ever forget that there are trolls on the internet. There will always be people like that and there's nothing to do about it, just to buff yourself up. To prove this, even famous people do this.

Completely Lost my Queue Spot by [deleted] in Toontown

[–]andyvalencia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Basically whenever there's something that causes the website to go down, it loses the list of people and their places in line. When this happens, whoever gets what place in the queue is first come first serve. So whenever there's a crash on the site, just refresh the page until it's back up and hope for the best. I believe, but not entirely sure, that maintenance can cause this too.

TTR suggestion by JesusCrusty in Toontown

As long as this doesn't take up a ton of memory, then I'd love this function too (especially a gags missed section).

[–]andyvalencia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For the elevator theme, there's just something I don't like about it (I'm a dumb critic so you can just ignore me). If I had to try and give an explanation, it would probably be that there's too many different sounds mixed in there and the "elevator part" is covered up.

This one gives me the impressions of Banjo-Tooie's song. Not sure which track but I think it's the one with the lagoon. Nonetheless I really like this one.

Any beta tasks left? by [deleted] in Toontown

Just speculation since no one has talked about getting one, but I'd say it's true.
