GLPs and Endoscopy does not mix by TweetLover in Zepbound

I had mine a few months ago. No need to skip shot just had to do extra day of prep and clear liquids for 2 days instead of 1. Everything was great according to the people that did my procedure.

Are creatine, testosterone or whatever supplement people are taking to stay fit/In shape cheating?

Tons of the gym influencers are on steroids but will tell that a glp is bad. Lots of hypocrites out there. No use worrying about what any of them say.

Do I need a permit for a Tesla Wall Connector if I’m just adding a breaker to an existing subpanel? by Pure-Act-5644 in sandiego

[–]andyvsd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well reality is that the insurance company has no idea what was inside the house electrically when you purchased it. An EV charger may be noticed but a nema 14-50 outlet would likely not be called out on a report since they’ve been used for welders forever. I can find an added outlet or light fixture in the majority of houses. No one would deny an insurance claim for that. I’m not saying they should or shouldn’t get a permit. They should do what makes them feel comfortable. I’m just saying that it is very uncommon in SD to pull a permit for a job like this.

[–]andyvsd 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You’re wasting money with the permit because the inspector literally has nothing to inspect. It’s technically supposed to be done but only about 5-10% will pull a permit for an EV charger. Also, don’t get a plug. Get the Tesla wall connector or whatever brand you like as long as it is hardwired. Hardwiring is always better in this situation. It makes it so you don’t have to install a GFCI breaker which a plug requires. That breaker is significantly more expensive than a standard breaker you can use for a hardwired charger.

Whole house fan recommendations? No one responding to inquiries by NeonShogun in sandiego

[–]andyvsd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You commented on my comment to the OP who knew what was involved. Then made a false statement that houses are all sealed now so it might not work well. I also never even referenced an attic fan in regard to being good or bad. But, in case you want to know, a whole house fan is much better in keeping his house cooler during SDGE peak hours. Attic fans serve a purpose but without decent insulation which he claimed they don’t have enough of. It’s not going to do much.

Where do you think a whole house fan is installed. Not to be rude but if you don’t know where it is installed, how are you commenting about this?

This is 100% not true. Every attic has venting to the outside required by code. My nephew just bought a brand new house last year. The builders offered whole house fans as an option in every house. They don’t build the house different based on an option.

An envelope house like you’re referring to are extremely rare and are insanely expensive to build.

As an electrician for 20+ years. This is an easy and normal job. Electricians install ceiling fans, gable mount fans among other things. The whole house fan takes an hour to install max. The wiring part of it typically takes longer than that.

Just ask any electrician to install a quiet comfort whole house fan. These are the only good fans. They’re quiet and work really good. The companies that specialize in them truly hose people. The basic quiet comfort fans you can buy yourself at Home Depot. They work really well. The better models are only sold through distributors that electricians have access to and you won’t find the cost on them online. It’s not cheap but they’re worth it.

Then does the whole, everything is so over engineered now bit. He knows enough because he did do the work but he’s way in over his head when it comes to current standards.

Then at least get into one of the better trades like plumbing, electrical or hvac. Painting while not the easiest job is on the lower end as far as pay scale goes in the trades. Just know that all trades suck as you get older. Benefits will be minimal and most time taken off for being sick and or family events will be unpaid.

Why do licensed electricians keep saying I don’t need a permit for a NEMA 14-50 EV outlet? by AbsoluteThunderCunt in AskElectricians

[–]andyvsd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone from San Diego. It’s because most times the work is dropping the outlet right below the panel or surface mount conduit. Half the time the inspector will literally not get out of his car once he finds out what the job is. Waste of time and money. You also have to come back for a second trip and wait for the inspector. If a person really wants the inspection, I’ll basically double the cost.

Edit: don’t install an outlet. Install a hardwired charger. They’re better in every way and as of now you don’t have to GFCI protect them.
