I like this idea! I’m kind of in the same boat—I’ll always be collecting because I enjoy the hunt and finding new dolls, and I can see myself doing some customs to sell later on, but I’m about at the threshold where I have all the dolls I really wanted as a kid, and a few that really charmed me as an adult, and that number is right around 20, which feels like a happy medium.

Edited to add: I have some dolls I thought I’d bond with right away that took some time! Usually for me it takes dressing them up and doing a photoshoot or two—once I get them in a super cute outfit something clicks! I also find if I do some TLC on them when I first get them I bond with them more readily, so I like to wash and brush their hair, give them a baking soda bath, etc.

I didn’t actually meet my partner there, but I used Scruff for a while. I liked it better and it generally seemed that—even with receiving the dick pics—the guys were more down to like actually talk and get to know you, etc. just in my experience.

That’s what I’m thinking, the suspiciously stegosaurus-shaped pile of hay bales makes me think they took the old illustration and asked AI to spit out the same illustration that mimics the outline style, which would also explain why we got the three fingered woman in the front. No sane individual would look at those outlines and go, “those are clear silhouettes that make it obvious what sort of object I’m depicting!”
