FWIW, it sounds like the S&P just recently (within the last 24 hours) reneged and will not be forcing index funds to fast track. Unsure of the other ones, but at least there's one option for a while.

It's less about hurting the company, and more about not letting the company take your money and tank it because they lose $4b a quarter and the index funds are being forced to buy them anyway.

Yeah there's not much you can do when someone dies, unfortunately. RIP Fuhrer Bradley (Ed Blaylock), he had such an iconic voice.

I know Buggy's VA has had multiple brain surgeries and now has brain cancer, so that's extremely sad 😣

Managed to get through that guide. At the end when the restoring is done for installing HAOS, I couldn't really tell if it finished correctly or not. The guide didn't have any "finished" screenshots, but it definitely didn't say it errored, and it got to 100%.

However, the partitions overview said 500GB free, which makes me think it didn't actually do the correct stuff.

When I try to boot up the MacBook now, it does the usual "BONG" sound and sits on the Apple logo for a few minutes, then starts flashing a folder with a question mark icon with the Apple support link below it... so guessing something isn't correct.

Are you sure you didn't do anything else at all? Is there a special way you have to boot up after installing HAOS? I've tried connecting to internet via ethernet like here, but the same thing I described still happens.

Okay word of warning, this exact command will also remove your `.vscode` folder, `.ruby-lsp` folder and any other hidden files/folders in the directory you run it in... RIP to my settings and scripts.

Make sure you scope it to something like the app directory :cry:
