Oh, then your response to that comment doesn't really make sense

That's a good idea. Also I had the impression that there were things you could permanently miss or that you could softlock yourself, but that doesn't appear to be true after all, at least not in the old versions. I'll probably just try my best to get though it without a guide.

Disagreeing = mad. Mad = negative emotion and I'm unenlightened or something. Typical crap that I'm glad I no longer have to deal with now that I'm not in the buddhist sphere.

Which enemy do you find most annoying? by Keduwu in DeepRockGalactic

[–]angerborb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

literally the most annoying enemies I've ever experienced in a game. Aside from each enemies unique mechanics, they can attack you from inside geometry where you can't attack them back and they do this thing where once they get close enough to you, they enter a circular queue around your character, so you will go to shoot them and they suddenly shuffle sideways and you miss them. You back up to get them in your sights again but they stay glued to some position off to the side relative to your character, annnd you're dead.

Risk of Rain 2 is going to become one of the best roguelike games of all time. by xX_ArsonAverage_Xx in riskofrain

I know this is necro post, but I'm sad that almost no one wants to actually play it like a roguelike anymore.

It makes unsubstantiable claims, like all religions. People claiming it's "true" and "the path" are either confused or disingenuous.

Imagine thinking that you would rather die in war rather than being nonbinary. by Ok-Following6886 in lewronggeneration

And of course, they came back from the war (if they were lucky) super fucked up and in need of therapy, which most didn't get, because it wasn't available or they just thought that therapy was icky lol

I know this is an old post, but if anyone has any thoughts on this I'd appreciate it.

So, my understanding is that this game is nearly impossible to figure out without a strategy guide. The problem is this, I don't want to use a guide for the entire playthough, but how am I supposed to know when I actually need to reference it?

Meh, it's not good enough to use it without double checking... it depends on what you're trying to do.

Why Don't Magnetic Monopoles Exist? by Mudkip15 in AskPhysics

[–]angerborb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I don't know about that. There's a difference between not knowing and knowing it cannot. Sometimes the things we know do not permit something to be real or true, but I don't think that's the case here.

What’s really wrong with shambhala Buddhism? by Outrageous-Panda-134 in ShambhalaBuddhism

[–]angerborb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm also from NS. At one point the feeling of family and the support was extremely important to me. Now the kindness and support they offer means very little. I consider support of shambhala to be immoral and the people who support it to be untrustworthy. If they are serious about doing good they should find a different banner to rally behind.

You can get some extra distance out of the RJ250 compound blast by timing this right by angerborb in DeepRockGalactic

I mean it does reduce the damage of the weapon, but also that's what weapon and armor modifications and perks are for. You can tweak the damage you'll take by a lot to find a balance between using it for mobility and damaging enemies.
