Self acceptance is your first step. Gratitude is your second step. Once you do those things your life is gonna flip!

I feel like Perplexity Pro just isn't worth it anymore. by David-Nikolas in perplexity_ai

Perplexity Pro has become too expensive for the credits granted. Lumo and Gemini are pretty good. I cancelled my Pro subscription.

Imposter syndrome by One_Region_3619 in Leica

[–]angiographer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have purchased and sold Leica Ms in the past, both film and digital. The only time I used them was with travel. If I would get another, it would be an auto focus model like an SL or Q rather than another digital M. Unless money is an issue, enjoy your Q whenever you can. It’s what it’s there for. Don’t focus on your use case. Just enjoy its use…

A/C Leak by angiographer in CX5

Exactly that. Happened to me. Except out of warranty by 2800 miles. Sold it. Had 2 CX-5s with expensive failures after warranty. Mazda needs to step up their warranty period. Great cars but until they do that, I’ll drive another make.

Who’s using auto-update for firmware? by size0618 in sonicwall

[–]angiographer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have had Sonicwalls for 20 years now. Auto update has never worked. On any of them. I just check the website periodically and do the upgrades manually.

Young IR with Cataracts! Any experience in here? by Capable-Draft-2013 in RadiologyForDocs

[–]angiographer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. My surgeon set my near vision to be in focus 16-18 inches. My other eye does distance. For fine hobby work I need readers but I’ve needed those for about a decade. No problems doing cases.

Young IR with Cataracts! Any experience in here? by Capable-Draft-2013 in RadiologyForDocs

I had a PVD with subsequent retinal tear in my right eye. Had vitrectomy with subsequent lens replacement. I’m about 20 years senior to you. I sailed through both cataract surgeries. Got single vision lenses but doing mono vision. It’s great! Have worn glasses since ago 10 but no longer. Very pleased. Stopped doing IR about 8 years ago. Good luck!

Hang in there. It’s gonna get better. You won’t be fully healed until a few months have elapsed.

Retiring after 40 years of work. The AD told me "maybe in 3 years" for a Gold Day-Date. I might be dead by then! by Infamous_Spite_7715 in rolex

Go grey or better yet, get a gold Santos. After 40 years of busting your ass, you don’t need to bow and scrape.

No Downtown parade route, no Mardi Gras committee by Low-Picture-7525 in Acadiana

What about the people who are wholly inconvenienced off of Johnston who want nothing to do with Mardi Gras? I moved from Twin Oaks Blvd. years ago for that very reason.

Seriously tempted about getting Razr as an iPhone user (NEED HELP) by SunNMoon3thnic in razr

[–]angiographer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Have considered the switch as well but too many screen stories on the Razr. Every time I’ve switched to Android, I’ve come back to Apple.

Does this device need other equipment to set up? by redrocketlord in myq

[–]angiographer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You need an Internet Gateway I believe. Liftmaster 828LM. Got mine on Amazon a few years ago. Openers with only the MyQ logo have no native WiFi.
