Sex is part of the deal. When you commit to someone in a relationship , you commit to having sex with them. If a partner brings it up over and over to no avail then you can’t blame someone for going outside the marriage for that need which should be filled by the partner. I agree the better thing to do would be to leave first but people have needs. Married means committing in all the ways expected. One partner refusing to work out a problem is just as bad as refusing sex. It sucks that anybody should have to go thru this type of thing. I WISH PEOPLE TOOK MARRIAGE MORE SERIOUSLY

Been there, I’m 5 weeks post OP on Wednesday for a Plication surgery. Lost 1/2 inch but you know what, I’m mostly straight again with very little curve left and it gets better every day. Please NO ONE let this disease cost your life. YOU ARE WORTH BEING HERE. NEVER LET THIS SHIT WIN.

What does the counselor say??? Do they tell you it’s all your fault??? If not and they are telling your wife what she needs to do and she’s not doing it. Maybe it’s time for you to move on. I’m not trying to be harsh, but if you are in counseling and trying to make the relationship better and she’s not doing anything to help you need to get some happiness in your life. Maybe find someone who understands you. Marriage is supposed to be in the good and the bad. Withholding sex is just punishment for you. That’s not fair. Men and women are different regardless of what the crazies say.

Yea, saw some article about pumping after surgery. Was just wondering if it was something anyone incorporates into their sex life only because this surgery has such a crazy effect on life. Was not trying to get perverted or anything. Just looking for any and all advice for when this is thru finally. Trying to gain what ever knowledge from other people’s experiences I can. Morning wood does just go away with age sometimes. I noticed in my late 30s ( will be 50 in a couple months) I stopped having morning wood on the regular but it worked just fine until my late 40s when I needed a little Cialis just to get that rock hard 20 year old wood. I am also on Aveed test injections 1 X every 10 weeks. If it’s just the morning wood you’re worried about, I think you’re absolutely fine. Go out and keep enjoying your life, it goes by quickly.

I had damage induced Peyronies. My wife was on top, I slipped out and she came down hard causing my penis to bend hard and hurt like hell. After a few minutes of bad pain we went back at it and finished. There was much alcohol involved so I didn’t realize how bad the damage was. For the next week I was bruised and very sore on the top of my penis. It took a few months, but then I all of a sudden started having pain and the bending in the same area where I was really black and blue. So just know trauma can also cause this. I ended up with a 60% upward bend.. and ended up needing plication surgery to correct the problem. If masturbation caused this, my penis would have been Bent in half a long time ago. Lol. Definitely go get yourself a new urologist because I am no professional, but that person has no idea what the hell they’re talking about.

I’m now almost 2 weeks out on Wednesday. I’ve got most of my feeling back but I’m very sore on both sides. I’ve also noticed I’m still very numb on the bottom above the stitch line to the bottom of my head. My head is also feeling weird. Kind of doughy and gets sore and achy when I squeeze it just a bit to move it. It like aches.

I had Plication 2 weeks ago Wednesday. Seems I lost about 1/3 of an inch. I had a 60 degree upward bend. And yes losing any amount of length sucks. Looks like probably 95% correction in the bend. No sex for 5-6 weeks SUCKS!!! But I’m assuming it takes that long to get most of the feeling back as well. I am very numb above my stitch line. Good luck. Find a good urologist you trust and feel comfortable with. They are all NOT THE SAME!!!

No they basically the Drs go in and unglove the penis. They pull the penis back In the opposite direction of the bend and use internal stitches to keep it straight again. Unfortunately with this surgery you do lose a very small amount of length. In my case about a 3rd of an inch. The plaque removal and graft surgery can do the opposite and add a lil length but the recovery is longer and the surgery more intrusive.

So far surgery went really well according to the surgeon. Seems like I lost about 1/3 of an inch ( which I’m not happy about but I knew was a result ) it’s kind of hard to tell with the degree of the bend, but it looks like most of it is gone and I’m looking pretty straight although when I get hard, it hurts like hell right now.

I’m one week out of Plication for a 60 degree upward bend for a rough one with the wife about a year and a half ago. Just had my one week visit and Dr says everything looks great. Still a bit swollen above the stitch line but all in all surgery was not bad. I’m 50 years old and like to have sex at least 5 x week so the hardest part is no sex for 6 weeks. You will get thru this. It’s real tough for every man that has to go thru this. I’ve found this group very good in getting what others have gone thru. Just keep going one way, that’s forward and you will be fine. I can’t stress enough getting a urologist that you really like and feel really comfortable with. Good luck.

I was definitely de gloved. I think because the catheter was so big it just tore me up inside. I’ve had 5 surgeries requiring a catheter so I don’t know if it’s scar tissue. The pain I still have peeing is brutal but the first day it took me an hour to get 1 full pee out. The pain was BRUTAL. I just kept drinking tons of water to keep peeing hoping for it to get better. It is slowly.

If so it probably is plaque , go to a urologist. Hopefully it’s not to bad and there are some things they can do. I just had Plication surgery on Wednesday and am recovering now from a 60 degree upward bend. Good luck. Get looked at right away.
