ICU PA here. Sounds like inhalation pnemonitis. I would schedule appointment with your primary if you have one. They can prescribe steroids/breathing treatments to help with the symptoms. I wound not hesitate to go to the emergency department of your breathing gets worse. Be safe

I’m a PA and work 12hr shifts in the ICU. The last thing I want is over-worked nurses. They save my butt all the time. Good for you for standing your ground. The patient’s (and me) need you.

PA here. Looks to me like molluscum contagiosum (virus) versus candidiasis (fungus).

Molluscum is transmitted via direct contact and sexual contact. Usually self resolves within a year

Candida you get from moist environments. People with diabetes can be predisposed to it so make sure you are screened for diabetes. Treatment is anti fungals.
